"Grandpa.. Tell Me 'Bout Those Good Old Days." One of the most beautiful country songs you could ever hear. Gorgeous and deeply touching. Also, "Testify to Love: Psalm 151". She performed it on a popular TV show, when she was asked to guest star. It's awesome.
This one breaks my heart...All of my Grandparents died before I was born....BUT...even though I can only imagine their love and guidance...I do know my West Virginia roots❤❤❤
Love every song they ever recorded. As a duo, or even Wynonna's solo career. You aren't the only one who didn't know mother from daughter. Wynonna, lead singer, is the daughter. Naomi, momma, sings the lower harmony. BTW, have you been introduced to baby sister Ashley, the award winning actress (Where the Heart Is; Frida; A Time To Kill; Double Jeopardy; Kiss the Girls; Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood; and so many more)? No shortage of talent in that family DNA! Naomi's suicide two years ago devastated her daughters and every fan worldwide. As much joy as every song of theirs brings me, now it's tampered by tears and sadness, at least briefly. The joy remains, I trust the sadness will fade, but we will never forget. *The Sweetest Gift* *John Deere Tractor* *Born to be Blue* Let Me Tell You About Love *Girls Night Out* *Give A Little Love* *Have Mercy* *Young Love* Turn It Loose *Grandpa* Just a few to get you started! Plenty more out there!
Awwww my favorite Judd song. “Grandpa ,Tell me bout the Good ole Days” is a close second. Love Can Build a Bridge was the last performance they did together at the CMT Awards April 11, 2022. Mom Naomi took her own life on April 30th. 😢 Daughter, actress Ashley Judd found her. Heartbreaking.
The daughter, Wynonna (the lead singer with the guitar), is an incredible and powerful singer, with a long solo career. I am actually going to see her live this Friday. I've seen her many times and she is just amazing!
🎼🎼🍂🍂🍂 .. I have told you a few times , Saeed , that my family was raised and performed Country Music. We all adore and appreciate The Judds. Amazing harmony and song writing. Here is another one of their great songs .. "Maybe Your Baby Got The Blues" 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
This song came out when I was pregnant with my daughter. I sang it to her when I rocked her. Brings back sweet memories. My daughter is 33. Love The Judds. ❤ Thank you for the trip down memory lane
Naomi (the mother ) was a nurse before they hit it big. There is another daughter Ashley, she became an actress. Check out Indian Reservation by Paul Revere and The Raiders ( tribute to Native American).
So many great songs by The Judds. Next, I would recommend their ver first single: "Had a Dream (For the Heart)". After that, check out "Mama, He's Crazy", "Why Not Me", and "Grandpa, Tell Me 'Bout the Good Old Days". Also check out some of Wynonna's solo stuff, starting with "My Strongest Weakness".
In the early 90's, Naomi (the mother) was diagnosed with Hepatitis, so the Judds had to stop touring as a band. This was the last song the performed during their 1991 farewell concert, and it was extremely emotional. Fortunately, Naomi went into remission and they had a few "reunion' concert tours (I was very luck to be able to attend one of those). Wynonna went on to have a very successful solo career.
The Judd’s took over Country like a tornado! Knocking out Alabama as top Country Group. Daughter, Wynonna, is a powerhouse vocalist and songwriter! A must keep going!
Thanks again for reviewing this duo. They charted more than twenty singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, including fourteen that went to number one. The next song I would recommed would be the song "Grandpa". Again thank you for your insightful view of the song and video! Have a great day!
This MV and song have always made me tear up, even more now since Naomi passed away. Wynonna and Naomi Judd were magical and unique, two incredible vocalists, performers and people 🫶🥹
Wonderful reaction! Other beautiful songs by The Judds are "Mama, He's Crazy", "Love is Alive", and definitelyyy "Grandpa". The mom Naomi unfortunately suffered from depression and took her own life several years ago. The actress Ashley Judd is also Naomi's daughter. Talent and beauty are plentiful in that family.
Such a Wonderful reaction. I have been extremely lucky of been able to listen to and enjoy their music and music by other artist's. You can just about pick any song of theirs randomly and never go wrong with which one it is :).
The opening prologue to the video shows people of my same ethnicity. And it really is well made with professionals at the helm! All of their music is wonderful filled with award after award! "Grampa" & "Mama He's Crazy" are especially popular with music fans.
Naomi wrote this song as a good bye to her friends. She retired early due to medical dx. Also, when I see Wynonna walking past her mother as she was giving her the torch to carry. Naomi was so proud of daughter
@@SaeedReacts. Country music singer Naomi Judd died by suicide from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head at her home in Leiper's Fork, Tennessee on April 30, 2022 so sad. 😞
Hey Saeed, Oh you found the Judds! Fabulous! They have quite a catalog! I'd start at the beginning, I think "Grandpa" was one of their first big hits! I don't know if they are still available but they used to make records with books that were word for word what the record was saying, they had all kinds of fun stories from nursery rhymes to Star Wars stories and Superman when they get a bit older, you may be able to find them at an antique shop pretty reasonably priced, if mine that I had when my children were small hadn't of been stolen I would have sent them to you, because they helped my kids tremendously, along with my constant reading to them all the time! Letting them look while I was reading and putting my finger under each word helped a lot too! They could read books by themselves by the age of three and when they were in the first grade they had an 11th grade reading level, they still love to read and enjoy books as gifts! I hope some of this was helpful to you and if you ever need advice about helping kids read don't be afraid to ask! Deb By the way your reaction was awesome!
I hope you're not growing tired of me today. It feels like a Sunday. These women are amazing. The mother's voice is just beautiful. A lot of their songs are so deeply heart touching they always bring forth tears. "Grandpa" Ohhh man, a million times it'll make you cry. There's another daughter, Ashley, who is in quite a few movies. She a good actress.
Saeed! Music of the Southern Appalachians...Love the Judd's...embracing my Southern roots...the video was filmed in the American Southwest...but make no mistake Southern Appalachian roots are fully illustrated here❤❤❤ I pray one day you and yours will visit the Appalachians
Ahh, The Judds. Wynona, the one with the blonde hair, was the daughter, and Naomi was the mother. Naomi was a nurse at one time, and contracted hepatitis C which really made her so sick later on that she had to stop touring. They did do something like a farewell type of tour, I think. A couple of years ago, Naomi took her own life. She was battling demons with depression but the public really wasn't aware. R.I.P, Naomi. There is another daughter who was an actress. You may have seen some movies she starred in. Her name was Ashley Judd. Than you Saeed for this reaction. Much love to you and your family ❤️ 🫂.

great song and reaction. Naomi was a teen mom when she had daughter Wynona. that's why it's hard to tell who mom is. Wynona was pretty much the lead singer while Naomi gave incredible harmonies. Naomi wrote this song. it was one of their best. Oh and did you know actress Ashley Judd is Naomi's other daughter?
I didnt know at the time of recording, i thought about the name, but did not expect they were actually related. Thanks for taking the time to share this.
Some other judge songs you should listen to rockin with the rhythm of the rain, have mercy, why not me, Grandpa, turn it loose, young love, Mama He's crazy, give a Little Love, and etc. wynonna's solo stuff no one else on Earth, I Saw the light & girls with guitars etc

@@randystalnaker6700 same here. I never had a grandparent. And I always felt the loss.
Daddy's Hands. One of my all time favourites by them.
Daddy's Hands was written and sung by Holly Dunn. A great song, but not a Judd's song.
