I just hate how much the writers ruined season 2. It had a huge amount of potential. I think that Harold and Duncan should've become friends after going through an entire season of them beginning to respect each other. When I first saw this season, I thought they were setting off a potential friendship between these two, but no, they just scratch that idea entirely because the writers love Owen too much. I would've preferred if no one came back, and Harold and Duncan's rivalry begins to shrivel. You could do two things, either have Duncan and Harold become friends before the finale and eliminate Duncan alongside Courtney and have the two of them splitthe reward, or, you can bring both Harold and Duncan to the finale and then they become close friends and they can split the reward. There's like a million ways you can rewrite the season, but it's mainly the final six episodes that really bring TDA down and the negative aspects aren't even that hard to change.

While their relationship turned sour at the end of "Crouching Courtney, Hidden Owen", I enjoyed how Duncan and Harold had been able to function together as a team at times and actually gain a sense of respect for each others' abilities. Sure it's another "nerd vs bully" trope, but it's one iteration worth watching. :) 3:49 - 4:06 Also, that's a pretty poetic scene for the essence of wars if one thinks about it.
My 2 favorite characters ! Their friendship kinda reminds me the Gwentney one since both of them are ruined for no reason a the end of a season I usually prefer to ship Duncan with Scott however but Duncold is one of my favorite ships lmao
