Please note - Once you have downloaded the software to talk to the Loop4Live - it just works and knows Ableton. There is no Setup or programming to do. It’s been done for you! 👍🏻 However you can change what it does if you wish. Hope that helps. 🙏

More than welcome. Like I said in the video.. haven’t even scratched the surface yet!
Great video, and nice to see you demonstrating the brilliant Loop4live controller, I have loved mine since buying it 18 months ago. It's really compact such that I have put it on my Bumblebee pedalboard with my guitar effects (fits on the bottom row without the need for spacers and room for an expression pedal too, unlike like the RC600 😉).
The way that it is so easy to configure the unit to work how you want it to control Ableton, (either saving the configuration online in your account or modifying it using the Max 4 Live device), is absolutely brilliant. I have spent so much time programming controllers when I should have been playing and looping, and now I don't have to!
The other free Max 4 Live device that allows you to use an ipad as a second screen is a very welcome addition too.
I really hope that Ableton will update Push Standalone to include the ability to load 3rd party control scripts so that I can use my Loop4live with Push3 without the need for a computer at all. For me, that would be the ultimate looper setup!
I would love to see you do another chapter with this controller, expanding on what you have learned so far 🤞

Wonder if you could get away with one of the new Apple Mac Mini’s tucked away under the pedalboard with a mini monitor screen.

Interesting idea on the M4 Mac Mini idea, I had previously thought about using my M1 Mac Mini, but dismissed it as I would also need a mouse to launch the session (and a keyboard too for password I suppose), and instead picked up a used M1 Macbook Air (16gb ram, 512HD) for about £450, so everything integral including screen.
A used Macbook, Loop4live pedal and Ableton Intro would likely come in cheaper than a Sheeran Looper X and with more tracks and virtual instruments too!

NNOOOoooooooo! !! !! no more gear LOL hahahaa :-) --- yer demos are GREAT JP! It's just that "OMG, one more piece of gear I have to have" disease I have ...I'm gonna go broke..... Have my RC-600 rig pretty solid - but this puts Ableton back into a practical center stage -- and with WILD arrangement possiblities -- and all live on stage. Thanks again man. I think.
