The Orleans is the first place I ever played craps. $5 tables were a big help for a beginner. First session started with $40 left with $220. I'm a pass line with odds and 2 come bets with odds player.

You made some good money for starting with $40.
Just a note about playing pass line with odds. If you’re not playing 5x odds. You’ll get paid more…if you take your pass line and odds and place the point. Most places are 2x odds or 3-4-5. Which means you only can place 5x odds on a 6-8.

Mahalo Mel, lost $ in the beginning then switched to $96 across n took down sister numbers as it hit. Was able to make some back but still lost. Waiting for pso also saved me $ on this cold table. Good luck in Vegas.

Yep so your playing like a 6-8 rebate 👍. I do ok although the tables were very bad 😞. You’ll see when I put out my trip report.

Tough session. Felt bad for Alfredo as he was trying his best to maximize his bets, but those 7 outs were just nasty.
Yes that’s not a good thing. But that’s the nature of the game.

That's how my week went. Started with 220 inside 330, 154. 110 didn't matter. I started pulling down after 1 hit if i could get that. Should've walked away, but a 5-day trip may have seen 2 30 rolls. No strategy would work if you were betting more than 1 number. May have made more parlaying the horn. Will take time to recover. I love playing so much it would make me happy to break even or close to it just to plan another trip!
Things like that happen. But I like your attitude👍 our Crew all just love to play and enjoy the game of craps. Of course we all would love to hit that big rolls.

At the 1 hr mark, with 8 as the point, a very likely number to roll, why doesn't anyone have odds on their pass line bets? The best bet in the house. It doesn't make sense.
We place the box numbers instead. We try to keep the landing zone clear for the shooter. Odds bets are only better then a place bet if you’re placing 5x odds. People are only placing the pass line because they need it to play the repeater bet.

I don't understand why they aren't covering the numbers rolled on the repeater bet, like the 4 and 10...Do they forget? or do they do it on purpose? Around the 45-54 min mark.
Sometimes the dealer forgets. Sometimes we gotta remind them. Lol
What’s the point to place the bets on the numbers before the first roll if you don’t have them on.
That way when the shooter comes out with his point. He doesn’t have to wait while players put out there bets. And the dealer doesn’t have to take longer setting up every ones bet.
Holy crapa! Can they be more obvious of slowing the game down on Penny!
Oh well…as players I’m sure that has happened to all of us.
Tough session Mel, everyone played aggressively and was set up to win big but roll ended too soon. Looking forward to you hitting them big next time. Personally I would stay away from the repeater bet, never have seen it pay off.

Outside bets is placing the 4/10 5/9 no 6/8 on the place bets.
HOW COME THEY DON T BET BEHIND D PASSLINE AFTER D' POINT??
We place the place bets. If you don’t bet at least 5x your pass line bet in odds. You make more money on the place bets. Majority of casinos have only 2x odds and some have 3-4-5 x odds. Which mean only on the 6-8 you can place 5 x odds.

For a group of guys that all try to set the dice, ya'll not very good at it!! I think the longest roll was 9 with most 2 to 5. Cant win any money that way unless playing the darkside.
Well there are times when we do throw well…watch our Palace and Santa Fe station casino videos come out. Sometimes the table is just bad and no one shoot well. We don’t claim to be DI’s. There are times we throw well.

We place our bets on the place bets before the point. To give the dealers a head start before the point is rolled. But those place bets are off on the come out roll. Also there is no slowing up the shooter once he rolls the come out point.
