Drup really? "Bhutan does not promote militarization"? who is standing for Doklam now? do you even read the news or what? look at the condition now.. China is threatening Bhutan now and its the Indian soldiers who are fighting for Bhutan to protect Doklam!
Drup You are an idiot. Bhutan is dependent on India for their security and India never took advantage of it unlike China. I am saying this even when I am not an Indian.
The current Doklam Standoff is actually brought into limelight by the Indian media (propaganda). Bhutanese government never asked for Indias assistance on it. India acted independently which undermined our sovereignty. This chaos in the border would not happen if India never imposed economic sanctions and rig our elections whenever Bhutan tried creating diplomatic ties with China. 武道館 Same here... When I saw that it's free for Bangladeshi citizens, I realised that my British-Bangladeshi citizenship allows me to go, and I'm definitely going in two years... I hope you don't mind me asking this question, but are there many of us Bengalis over there in Japan? You're the first Japanese Bengali I have heard of.
NurusTheSquid Well, Japan is very strict against immigration (which is contributing to our population decline.) and although there are many foreigners who stays in Japan, they can't get permanent residency and are not counted as part of the population. I could go on, but to put it shortly, no, there aren't many people like me, or at the very least not by Japanese standards. The only reason my parents were able to move to Japan was because of their job. It's sad really, our country needs to be more immigrant friendly, especially if we are to remain relevant as an economic world power.
I as an American have heard about Japan's population decline but I urge you, if you bring Americans to your country check them. A lot of them are probably Weeaboos, who are essentially Americans who are obsessed with anime and want to be Japanese. You can't have those creatures flood your country and then become involved in the gene pool.
i love bhutan and its attitudes towards the environment and wildlife, but quite frankly the culture laws are disgusting. You should not have laws in a country dictating how to dress, or anything else to do with culture. people living in bhutan are under absolutely no obligation or responsibility to continue the culture of the country, and to exile people just bc some people don't want to live by these rules is sickening.
Russell culture is something that doesn't need to be protected. it is malleable and can change according to what individuals want to do. there is nothing wrong with this. every nation is special in their own way and has their own unique culture and every nation's culture has changed over time. now for a government to try to make laws dictating what people need to do, without taking into consideration what individuals want to do is wrong, and to make them leave bc of this is even worse.

Bhutan is majestic. The reason behind the endless happiness of the Bhutanese people is, they are not blindly copying the west and promoting heartless capitalism. They do not worship capital or economy. Instead, they respect Nature and Humanity. GDP is the worst criteria to measure how advance a civilization is. Bhutan has shown this to the entire world. Love from your neighbor, Bangladesh. We love Bhutan so much.

Bhutan is my favourite foreign country after Nepal. 1. It accepts Indian currency (in fact has pegged its currency to India's at 1:1) 2. Doesn't demand passport from Indian people for visit and is a good holiday destination :) 3. It also has the most glamorous flag. In that, it's number 1 and Nepal is number 2

Any attack on Bhutan will be seen as a direct attack on India, Indian troops has executed several counter-insurgence operations in Bhutan against China in the past. But things are stable now as India and China have very responsible relationship now.
You need not worry, Bhutan does not promote militarization like india
You need massive funds to promote militarization
Bhutan want diplomacy with China but India is jealous. That's all.
I must say, Switzerland is the Bhutan of the west.

武道館 I'm surprising that In Japan have many many foreigners ?
Trần Cường It depends on where part of Japan it is.

Russell culture is something that doesn't need to be protected. it is malleable and can change according to what individuals want to do. there is nothing wrong with this. every nation is special in their own way and has their own unique culture and every nation's culture has changed over time. now for a government to try to make laws dictating what people need to do, without taking into consideration what individuals want to do is wrong, and to make them leave bc of this is even worse.
karthik puvvula depends on what your idea of success is
