I can't believe Andrew singlehandedly made Bowser Jr. a top tier.
Definitely had to avoid the comments before this one finished up, what a way to go out! Both played very well. This is my first time watching a series from Dinger City, I came from watching people speedrun the game, and I adore the community you all have here. It's crazy to see characters that aren't close to meta see some promising plays here and there, made things a lot more interesting. Can't wait to see what's next!

Dinger City feasting good tonight. Another good one that went down to the wire, even with the Top 9 3-run jack from Andrew. Put this one on a DVD like thay do in the Majors because this series is one to cherish.
A lot of firsts for the rivalry that I hope we won't see the last of and congrats on another great set of Mario Superstar Baseball from both players.

I was humbled to finally make it to the World Series again (last time I made an appearance was Season 3 and Gill 4-0'd me). Junior is 100% the mvp of this series for Andrew, he’s been killing it at bat in the other games, however, this one it was Junior’s presence in right that shone in this game. 2 robbed petey homers. Jeez
I started watching y’all about halfway into the classic and immediately was enthralled by the toad team so I became a city hall guy and I couldn’t be more happy with this result on this WS. Can’t wait to see what else is in store

Been watching since midway through season 7 and Andrew quickly became my favorite personality in the club due to his goofiness and hilarious commentary, never thought I'd see him take home the belt when guys like Dennis and Mr Joe are so dominate but I couldn't be more pleased to see him go from last seed in the playoffs to taking home the gold. Congrats on the win City Hall. Looking forward to the classic and next season, hope the channel keeps going strong.

21:34 Moneyball doesn't mean going for a hit instead of a homerun. It means utilizing players who are undervalued, but the definition is often stretched to mean utilizing statistics to win games (sabermetrics). In this case I think the more "moneyball" play would've been to try and hit a pop fly to score the runner on third, because I think Wario is more likely to do that on a charge hit than get a slap hit.
After watching Andrew DESPERATELY trying to wall jump with Toadette in game 4 it feels so good seeing him press A in this game

Great playoffs. I didn’t follow the regular season but how was Andrew the 10 seed? Nick absolutely shat on Dennis who I thought was one of the best, yet then 10 seed Andrew bodied Nick. How
People are just used to boo and the monkeys. Any pitcher who's significantly different will shake things up for an inning or two until the opponent adjusts.
I'm a big proponent of playing dry bones or waluiji pitcher for like 2 innings in the middle of the game to throw the opponents off.
@@DrDrao he seems even better than just a change of pace pitcher to me. Idk what it is about his curve or delivery but it’s low key nasty

Wether there is a game 7 or not? I have to say this: Not to rain in on Andrew’s appearance in the Dinger City World Series but his opponents seemed to be much easier than Nick’s opponents. Andrew didn’t have to face Joey & Dennis (instead facing Peacock & Jason) in the playoffs whereas Nick beat Tyler & Dennis to make it here.
FUN FACT: If it weren’t for those last 3 runs Andrew scored in the top of the 9th; Nick would’ve outscored Andrew 62-59.

First off, I'm sorry that I haven't commented on this channel in a while, I've been busy with college. Anyway, congrats to my man Andrew, I still remember the Dirge stream we hung out and talked about this game. That's the stream where I won the giveaway by betting on Joey. I remember in that stream, I asked if he had one the world series, and I must say, that apparently awoke him a season later 🤣. Anyway, congrats man, happy for you that after all this time being in the club, you've cemented your World Series ticket.

I like BJ more than Mario in right field because Mario has a tendency to try to do a sliding catch on stuff that's technically in range but landing on the other side of the wall when I want him to wall jump.
Toadette of course is even better in right field because she's faster but her hitting is even worse than BJ's

This was my first time watching a world series and I gotta say it was so fun to watch in more ways than one. Definitely kept me nervous to see it play through. Both players did really well, aside from a couple moments, but they certainly added to the watching experience. Huge congratulations to Andrew for taking the belt! I'm so excited for what Dinger City has in store for the future, and I'm really glad I'm able to witness it with everyone. Mikey out!

I really loved both players here, I really think Nick could’ve possibly won this game, it really could’ve went to a Game 7, but I believe that bobble into that three run homer completely messed up Nick’s mentally on that last inning. Either way, I’m glad the World Series was that great, and Nick kept it close throughout the whole thing! Love ya, Dinger City! Can’t wait to see what Season 9 and the second Classic Draft holds!
