My only concern is that I thought it would be alittle further along than it was in alpha 1 but I still have hopium that they will release some banger updates for phases 2 and 3.
I think because they really don't understand how much difference to the game production process, the Agile development methodology makes. The way they are creating AoC is different to any other MMO ever created. Even Alpha2 means something different to Alpha2 in other games. I really would advise anyone creating content or commenting on Ashes to take 10 minutes to get a brief synopsis of the Agile system, so they get a better understanding of what is going on. That to me is the best 10 minutes you can spend while deciding to get involved in A2 or not.
Day one of BG3 EA I knew it would be a massive CRPG hit. The argument was it wasn't BG 1 and 2 enough and to much like Divinity. People were putting 100s of hours in EA. I just did it once and tried out the new classes a bit , we all knew jt would be a massive jump for CRPGs.
Honestly, seeing the two words "stonemasonry" and "novice" is going to wring $30 out of me. I'm super-glad about that. I hope they follow their dreams with the crafting system. It's the only thing setting this MMORPG apart from the other ones.
why bother with people that says it looks crap its this and that let them be ignore them you shouldnt have to convince people to play a game. lets just enjoy ashes in the state its in right now and help intrepid make it the best it can be for all of us 👍 all the ney sayers are gonna come crawling back sooner or later anyways:)
I'm pretty sure you can, I've heard something about a bug preventing people from using a wand + a spell focus at the same time, but nothing about wand and shield.
So, nothing new. Steven is just seeing how many peeps his lil company can handle at once without a crash. Merp. Honestly. The game looks, just ok and the character looks are 1980 Atrociously plain. Maybe by 2026 when it Might be out it will look better. ✌️
I would suggest not telling people not to listen to your opinion when they're watching your video to get your opinion on what the game is like. Might as well ask us don't watch your next video lol.
im not talking about combat as a whole. just specifically how melee feels to me. to me aoc is better, but if people value aesthetics, t and l looks better
Nothing against those who have enjoyed TaL, but your comparisons make me afraid of what AoC will be like. My experience was very negative in TaL, especially the combat.
I'm pretty much the exact opposite. If Ashes has the same kind of PvE experience and combat as T&L I will be excited to sink many many hours into Ashes.
@@TheDubiousD if you play melee in TAL then its like that except your not rooted in place when you attack which makes a world of diffrence. still a very floaty feeling when moving and attacking though. Abilites feel really impactful which is nice.

All I have heard since yesterday 1. Undeveloped 2. Not worth any playtime or money 3. Barebones systems 4. Combat sucks and feels bad 5. People are realizing it's has been BS this whole time 6. Zones arent developed like they said they were. 7. Meshing doesnt exist 8. Servers suck 9. I could keep going I've heard nothing good and nothing outside people trying to cope. F
Its not as bad as your claiming but I'm definitely concerned that this is all they have gotten since alpha 1. I have tested alpha 1 and have done the weekend test these recent months.
Talk for yourself, because I've heard something totally different. Good barebones systems, combat is very good and feels smooth, and most important: aside from being an alpha, IT'S FUN.
@@artharionsanchez1793 Combat being very smooth is copium in my opinion, for fighter at least, your movment is very floaty but I will say that the abilites feel very impactful. Your lower body and upperbody feel like their not attached I guess is what im trying to say. Its not all bad but combat for sure needs some work which I know they will improve.
@@artharionsanchez1793 also, I guess compared to alpha 1, combat is leaps and bounds better but thats not saying much because alpha 1 combat was horrendous lol.

I am not surprised an A2 game is in A2 state. Why do people expect it to be finished already?
It cost cash to play so that equates to finished game in their heads whether consciously or not

I hope they add some NPC idle animations at some point. I really hate how NPC's in some games stand around like statues.
this right here lol , so true
We should be able to touch them... inappropriately... and then have to run from the guards.
Ill see you in the alpha, friend.

sorry for my English, I'm French. Will alpha 2 persist until beta 1 or will it only be test periods?
alpha 2 will exist until the game goes live. it will run in parallel to beta 1 and beta 2.
no worries on the english, it's a good question

How much of it is voice acted, quest giver voice acted?
im not sure since i haven't been everywhere
I was gonna say it looks quite a bit like TaL

If fight is same as throne of L. I never gona play, i stop throne of l, because fight has some delay its not clean as WoW or gw2

The difference is one is an alpha state. As I said comparing an alpha to a fully fleshed product shouldn't be a thing, it is right now though imo
I'm pretty much the exact opposite. If Ashes has the same kind of PvE experience and combat as T&L I will be excited to sink many many hours into Ashes.
Yeah i only played TaL for an hour or so due to the combat being so clunky😂
