Ah the guy who mocked suicide victims
DOWN WITH CLIVE
How rude.
God save the king
I think its great , there are more that agree than folks realise , he deserves to be there - we are a democracy not an autocracy - you cannot ban from parliament because of republicanism
Yes ya can
@@Andy-kj1rcif he is ready to accept he is the kore powerless tyrant in history he can certainly try.
I think we have enough adults in the room to recognise how absurd our country is?
it's not tradition. Dictatorship of the rich
Jog on mate.
DISGUSTING
Long live the Republic of Great Britain
I hope you go and live in an African republic 😊
Not to be trusted
how utterly unpatriotic
All the monarchists will remember this if clive lewis decides to run for labour leader again in the future
What's your problem. How many Tories swore to the Queen, and ended up lying to her?
Very good point
@@MrPaulmorris7777it doesn’t matter, they didn’t lose any votes
The hypocrite ironically will still take a position in the Upper House!
@rinkydinkfretboard8737 He did say the words though...
An elected official chosen by the people, vs an old man whose ancestor was a French guy who killed a guy nearly 1000 years ago which somehow gives him the right to British taxpayer money and final say on all laws.
Well f off to a Republic mate,France is quite close as is the Republic of Ireland.
The British monarchy makes more money than its expenses.
@@bigmanhugeman You’re wrong. Tourists would come regardless of whether or not there was a monarch in power. The most visited palace in the world is Versailles, and you know what the French did to their monarchy.
@ProsecutorZekrom Sorry mate but tourists don't think about some here today gone tomorrow MP when the visit our shores but they do actually think about the monarchy and our history weather you or I like it or not it does bring tourists here,to be honest i myself couldn't care less if we have a monarchy or not,but it's in place and I don't lose any sleep over it,neither should an elected official,I reckon they should be doing a wee bit more productive things with their time and energy.
@@johngreenhorn8853 That is a long sentence you have written there.
Love that the people who want free speech are saying “kick the traitor out” for having an opinion
Multiculti effect 😅 UK it's time to say goodbye 👋
How this MP can be trusted to defend royalty then ? Bit easy to take an oath and say at the same time that you're against it ?
Well done. I am waiting aswel.
Closest I ever been to a Labour MP!
Shame of him must be kick out long live our King Charles bless him United Kingdom
Then refuse his membership
He’s been legally voted in … are you crying 😂
He’s a disgrace
I am embarrassed that he is MP for our area. I guess people must have voted him in, but our local community Facebook page is full of people shocked and ashamed by this display. This is not representative of his constituents views at all!
I'm guessing then that it wasn't made clear to his constituents that this was how he felt?He served in the Army, too, so would have made some sort of oath at some point..🤔
Kick him out he’s a traitor
I hate the royal family am I a traitor?
You're a bootlicker. The royal family don't care about you, they just want your money, and if you've got kids, prince Andrew wants them
Keep giving an old rich guy who doesn’t care about you your money
@user-ex2bx1hf5s “They made you a moron” 🎵
Those are the people who voted for brexit. The most undemocratic thing about Britain is the monarchy and the lords, they don't represent the people.
He should be in an African country.
And ranjit should stay in India
Adulter in chief
Not fit to be a Burger King.
I voted Labour, but when I see this I think 'nope'. A very silly boy.
He should be removed from parliament and permanently band
"band"?
✊✊✊✊
He should’ve done the honourable thing as Sinn Féin do and refused to attend parliament. Complaining about it, then swearing an oath anyway just shows him to be disingenuous and untrustworthy.
The Greens oppose the House of Lords, but try to do good within it until it is abolished. I think that makes more sense than doing nothing. But I do understand why people reject these things completely out of principle.
loved every word❤☘

Remove this traitor immediately.
Labour showing who they are
Traitor to King and Country.
What has that old fart done for us ?
Legend.
Traitor. If he wants to be a member of parliament in a constitutional monarchy then why say such things. And plus a monarch never vetoed a bill that parliament passed since Queen Anne so if anyone uses ‘he power to overturn bills’ argument, well there you have my rebuttal
Do you sit at Chatham house often?
The monarchy hasn’t vetoed a bill because the second they do, it’s likely they’ll cause a huge nationwide push against them. If the monarchy vetoed a bill, then everyone would think “why can he do that”, and the monarchy risks being abolished in full
@@tylerberks2756 you don't get to see what they veto..
What the f*** is the point of them if they can't even veto a bill by mere peasants

Get him out we don’t want him
Shame on anyone who voted for him
Ahhh, bless; poor Commissar Lewis must be peeved that the majority of the populace don't want his "democratic republic". What a git. 👎
Aww bless you he got voted in and he’s an MP he and many others would rather no royal family… keep crying 😂

How is he a traitor … because he does love a king … shut up you melt 😂😂
@@davidsamuel2303 don’t want a monarchy and said he doesn’t believe in it so why would he serve one?

I didnt like this at first but now realised this is good
He is a total bell end,
he doesn't even look English.
Banana republic he wants
Just don't vote for him next time.
The simp still bowed down to the king 😂😂
Because it's law that he does.

@@kh894How are you supposed to make change if you aren’t even going to engage with the system? Besides, Sinn Fein have been boycotting parliament for that exact same reason and nothing’s changed. Only way to make change is to do it from within parliament.
@ProsecutorZekrom 😅😅 if you think abolishing the monarchy is the most important thing this country is facing then I envy your life my friend. Besides politicians are only in it for themselves and pass bills so when their parliament duties are over they have a nice well paying job to go in to. They aren't here to help us the sooner you realise that the better.
“Look at me”
“Look at me”
Let’s hope the very people who elected him in will vote him out
He should just move a Republic country if he doesn't like it here in a Monarch country
If you don’t like the tories, you should just move to another country, right?
As much as I’m a monarchist, nothing wrong with trying to make a change if you think it’s better for your country
He wants to get rid of something that has brought this country together from the good times and bad times
It's archaic and we'll pass its sell by date.
Do not google “south sea crisis”, Edward 8th, or Charles 1st
@@paulsmith2855 I have googled it and I back it
He obviously doesn't take the oath seriously and therefore should be barred from sitting as an MP. Prat. If he swore an oath in court and said he was an aethist, would he tell the truth?
there are several arguments for and against the monarch and this oath,
like the fact that its just an oath, and the king has barely any power so he really want get in your way in terms of politics
God save the King
Beware the enemy within
He must have had a bad experience
Absurd
I guess he must have sworn allegiance once- he served in the Army...
He is saying before he is not taking the oath so he does not agree to any laws as they currently stand.
No he didn’t say that silly boy 😂😂😂
He is saying he was forced into saying it. It was meaningless to him.
Call that a protest lol what a muppet , stand down your not worthy
