This is such a weird and hilarious trip down memory lane I was 4th member of that ICT group (Jamie, Andrew, Sam and me). Binky the clown and Wallace and Gromit were the original ICT memes. So many good days on the Wallace and Gromit fan art website, man we did fuck all in ICT for a solid 2 years.

The Average Gatsby damn, that makes me really sad. My dad and I would watch Wallace and Grommet when I was a little kid on our old vcr. I loved those, and I still love them. Awesome claymation, good voice acting, genuinely funny jokes, that show was the shit.
Chef Steven Reed Yeah I have a lot of fond memories of it. Other things like "only fools and horses" "Last of the Summer wine" "Open all hours" "Porridge"... Those quintessential British shows you watch with your parents or grandparents, the likes of which you'll never see again... Sad to see those actors grow old and pass away..
At my high school, every teacher had a set of folders under their name in the main shared domain space (I know my terminology isn't quite correct, but you get the gist). Basically every teacher had a folder under their name, which in turn each contained 8 folders, one for each period. The point was for teachers to upload assignments there. The problem was that students could put files in the folders too. Enter the band teacher, who had a set of folders but never actually put anything in them since he didn't exactly give out assignments. So what happened was his folder set basically became a dumping ground for memes, batch files that would open infinite IE windows to crash the computer, and even a bootleg Minecraft .JAR file (I was in high school from 2011-2014). The band teacher was well aware of what was going on, and even tried to curtail further hijinks by uploading text files asking people to stop in all caps. So of course, we all just doubled down. Eventually whoever was in charge of IT made the whole folder set read-only and deleted everything inside. This led to people trying to take over a few other teachers' folder sets, but they never quite gained the same level of involvement and they quickly died out.
We had something similar at my school, it was called the J: Drive. almost everything on the school network was in the K: Drive, the J: Drive was only for engineering and computer science type courses, so it was much less used, leading to it being taken over by the students. There were a ton of different games and memes and random nonsense on there, and they even specified some sort of political structure with a "Leader of the J: Drive" and a bunch of underlings. Unfortunately, it only lasted a year, all their folders and games got completely wiped over the summer. Fun times though

Well everyone I finally finished this mingey episode of JARcast and I must say I was severely disappointed. No, not from the lack of James, that made the burn feel a bit better. But rather from the CONSTANT, shameless Burger King advertisements. I get it JAR, you're trying to get those extra pounds to pay for a new mic but come the fuck on. Every five minutes the cast is JARringly (yes i came up with that joke myself, no need to compliment) interrupted by Jamie yelling his ass off about Burger King's new Chicken Parmesan Sandwich. I had to have heard AT LEAST 40 Burger King sponsorships within this video itself. If that wasn't painful enough, the moment of the podcast where they all sat at the table to eat a Burger King whopper was fucking agonizing. And they even gave one to Argy? Bought him his own personal fucking whopper. And then Ruben went on and on about Burger King's Icy Tea. Terrible episode, I'm severely disappointed, learn how to make a podcast please. and god please address the minecraft/terraria debate in a future podcast because that shit is tearing the dear JAR fanbase apart
as someone who just went through my first year of sixth form i can say it is still a huge waste of time. the memes were top notch though. i could absolutely relate to jamie at around 30:00 as i only spent like 5 days over the last 2 months in school. if anyone wants to go to sixth form for memes take work skills. i had 12 lessons (50 mins each) a week doing nothing. sixth form will guarantee great meme such as: cringy rap battles in the cafe. ainsley harriott oil salon (google maps) moms spaghetii, just do it, shooting stars, vsauce Michael here. goatse jelleyclothing i have quit sixth form in search of greater memes.
