The purpose of a nap is to take a quick rest, not to put yourself in a state of deep sleep where your whole body slows down and after you wake up it has to slowly wake up with you, that's why people feel tired upon waking up. The beauty of napping is that you can do it anywhere, you don't have to lie in your bed. If you're in school and the history teacher is talking about stuff that you don't care about, lay your head on the table and rest for a while, if you take a bus to your work get comfy in your seat and take quick nap. Actually it is better NOT to lay down while napping because of the risk of falling asleep. You won't end up covered in sweat after a nap so don't worry about that. Seriously, get your shit together and stop talking trash about naps when you don't know anything about them.
