93 yr Old Truck 20 Year Old Driver

Awesome original petina by God!
My 20 year old Son driving to work at 5am with My Dad's Fathers 1930 Model A pickup. Originally a Tacoma Light Public Utilities truck (Car # 3) the gold leaf door lettering says on the drivers side.

People ask when we are going to restore it. 🤔 Our intentions are of no such thing. We preserve it from rusting keep it running and maintain it as "needed" it even got new tires in 1980. We upgraded the inner tube's about 8 years ago by adding zip ties around the valve stems so the air wouldn't leak out around the brass valve cores. We did rebuild the odometer and fuel Guage.

It's a really nice truck. Might want to fix the roof to make it a little more comfortable driving on cold or wet days, though.

We have a tree we cut down my father planted. I am going to use that wood for new cab and bed wood. Then ill have something to attach a roof on. But then again we only bring it out in the summer and i watch the streets lights through the roof.
