The CCTV and other types of surveillance are next to absent in India. So trucks going on right most lane and or fast cars going on left continue their journey without been ditected. Also, 2 wheelers are allowed on highways in India. So trucks in order to avoid accidents tend to drive from right lane.

@@abcd-cu5ve Citizens should be aware about lane rules and while upgrading driving license should also take a test of knowledge of lane rules and if not followed, charges should also be levied like it happens in the US.
@@jatin7244 i totally agree with you. But that's unfortunately not the case in india. I would say 99% drivers don't know basic rules like give way, or lane marking(solid, broken). Even cops don't know. I have never seen cops pulling over a driver because he didn't give way, etc.
