(And in case you are wondering, my wife, who fell in love with the phytonic blue color and the engine sound, is taking this new car, and I'm getting the hand-me-down X5.)
The best BMW review I have seen so far (watched more than 15 professional reviews on m40i). Not boring and have a kept a good pace in explaining things short and sweet. Explaining the different packages is a great idea as the bmw website itself is a little confusing on that topic. Good work and keep it up
2022 pics leaked out already. Dash gets remodeled and nose/tail get refreshed. I priced one out X3 M40i (US) and it came to about $62k. Nice car and I wasn’t aware of the power that should move this SUV quickly - good ride.
To my local Southern California BMW dealer on my purchase of a 40i - “this is the car TH-cam sold.” Greatly appreciate your in-depth video, however, packages in the states are quite different - mine is Executive package with Harmon as a one off.
@@DenverBMW Disappointed that we can’t get the red interior in the M40i in the States. Seems a little foolish on BMW’s part. Would have definitely ticked that box if offered.
Great Vlog Bro! I ordered mine already and it’s starting the build tom. Can you possibly explain a little about the add on option of the “M Sport Differential” I think that’s the only thing I didn’t add on and I still can if anyone that knows about it says it’s worth getting for an extra about $1,500 U.S. dollars. Thanks for any info. Or maybe even a link to where I can read about it.
The heating in the seats is still the same button even if you have vent in the seats. And the kicking works for the trunk even if you have towbar. Just got my car and that's what I have noticed was wrong from your video
Why can they never get the graphic of the car correct? I always had the right color but the wrong model. Now have the right model but the wrong wheels. I assumed those where the default for the m40i images but low and behold here are the correct wheels that are on my car in the image. It's a small thing but still why is it so hard to get right? Forget the dealer trying not fix it. On the flip side the image doesn't match the wheels on this X3 .
Great vehicle but BMW still makes you pay dearly for top trim items that are available on much lesser vehicles like vented seats. Why? They are not as bad as Porsche but options are still expensive.
Options are like lipsticks in the auto world. You are asking why a supermodel with no lipsticks is more expensive than a gargoyle covered in full makeup.

It is a electronic limited slip differential. No link i can provide.

In canada the kick sensor is removed when tow hitch is added, 100%. Facelift X3 has same button for seats, not 2021 model.
The blue exterior with red and black interior is a weird combo.

I think the adaptive M suspension is not standard on the M40i. Mine is a 2021 and doesnt have it :/
