I have a marble dining table I love it but it requires a lot of maintenance. I want it to return to its original version and then I want to put a custom made glass on top of it as a protector. What do you think?
Apologies for the delayed response. This is certainly an option, but in my opinion it changes the look and feel of having natural stone. Might I suggest you look into TuffSkin? How do you find out what kind of countertop you have? I know it’s some kind of stone. Not sure is it cultured marble, marble, or porcelain. All I know is my kids use Lysol whips and the shine is gone. I have tried everything.
If it’s unknown, take some good quality photos and find a good tile store or natural stone supply yard- walk in and ask the experts- they likely can give you an idea. If pre-saturated wipes remove the shine- that indicates a softer stone such as marble. With denser stones such as granite or cultured stones such as quartzite, that would not happen.
