What does this mean for Tesla stocks though? Is it advisable for somebody who wants to start investing in stocks for short term gains to start with Teslas? Are there better options?
I'd recommend you get yourself a fiduciary F.A if you're trying to go in big. They're not half as expensive as you think and know the market better. Experimenting with TH-cam based suggestions may not be the best for you. I know this from experience and as somebody who has made real money off stocks. Goodluck.

Dont start with Tesla if you dont want to play the long game.
You should start by looking out for those from known firms and good track records. You should also make sure the person is licensed. Personally, I use Kelly Matwick. She's good and you could also look her up.

Why's he focusing on margins on cars? That's exactly what Tesla don't care about, Tesla is focused on rolling out FSD and getting recurring subscriptions to generate profits.

But who in their right mind would sign up for a recurring subscription just to drive a car? Most people want a "once and done" type of thing when buying cars...

Keep in mind that Tesla owns their charging network and all the OEM's will be adopting the Tesla charging plug by the end of 2025.

Every Tesla is hardware ready for full AI. Software is the key. Teslax $10B investment in AI compute in 2024 alone will 10x value of existing networked fleet of $250 Billion on the road today.
Is Tesla a car company? Thinking of it only as a car company regarding stock futures might be a problem.
Apple doesn’t lower its prices they make their customers pay a premium. Apple is being priced out of the market by China. 🤔 Might have to lower prices.
