i have the same drum set but its called 'Skagg'
i got it in pieces and would love to know were i could get that hardware .
so i could mount both toms to the drum.

What’s the hole in the drum and clothing in the bass for?
It allows air to escape the drum when hit which changes the feel of the drum. Most people prefer this feel. Also, you can more easily mic the drum from the hole. On bass drums under 20" though, I never port them. Only 20" or higher.
