I'm in my 70's now but decades ago my best friend and I spent a lot of time visiting Tybee. Did the lighthouse, beach, shell shops, restaurants, etc. Later that year the US Postal Service came out with a series featuring famous lighthouses. Tybee's Lighthouse had its own stamp. Decades later and thousands of miles away from Tybee, you have helped me relive that wonderful trip! Thanks for your efforts!

Love Buc-ee's. The cookie dough bites and the peach muffins are awesome. Do you remember the Ghost Ship restaurant in Murrels Inlet years ago? They had a pet gator out front. The building now is called the lazy gator and the gator disappeared during a hurricane. Good memories. Thanks for the video. Appreciate it

Tybee Island seems to be low key, but saw news alert the other day about a event that was not authorized for around the 4th of July

Umbrellas are allowed at Pawleys, where we have a house about a mile + from beach. What do ppl do 4 shade at Myrtle?

Up to 8ft. Umbrellas are allowed, no cabanas or setup shelters.
