TYBEE ISLAND GEORGIA GETAWAY WITH GARAGE GEAR. The Garage Gal and I decided to get out of town for a FEBRUARY BREAK!!! We took a ROAD TRIP down to Tybee Island, GEORGIA and stayed at THE BARRACKS on Tybee Island which we found through AIRBNB. We TOURED the entire island. Biked about 40 miles in 4 days. Great video. I was born in Savannah, and an ancestor of the General the Ft. Was named after. I also have photos of another ancestor that was stationed there when the Springfield Trapdoor was the issued rifle to the troops.

Great video and great scenery on Tybee Island. The South has some very interesting barrier islands with a lot of preserved history and unique places to visit.

Hey Wayne! It was a great getaway! The temps were perfect and it was sunny everyday! Plus we could drive there in a day! How’s everything going at EP?
Best start of a year we have had in a long time. Snowblower repairs and service have been great since we finally got snow this winter. Customers already calling for lawn mowers to be serviced also.

Jake did a video on an Oregon battery mower that did not work out. Additionally, we are seeing many battery operated mowers being sold on Kijiji and just about everyone has some kind of battery longevity issue. I personally have a B&D grass battery operated trimmer which i have been using for 5 years without major issue (replaced plastic tap feed plate last year) Also use an electric corded leaf blower vacuum (zero vibration and works as described does an awesome job). At the present time there seem to be a few good mowers out there but battery life and replacement cost continue to be the issue, along with design issues on some of the parts that are failing.

We wanted to go someplace warm that we could get to by driving within a day! Temps were in the 70’s everyday. No rain the whole week! It was great!
Been to Tybee many times, I always bring the kayak and bikes.
Unfortunately I haven’t found any places around Savannah for Jeep rides, did you hear of any Jeep trails or even just some backroads to ride down there?

Used to live in Buffalo, never again. Winters their were the worst I've ever experienced man lol nice rental by the way. I do miss the chocolate malts and beef on wreck sandwiches though lol

Nothing compares but outside of Buffalo it was decent!
