I Grew up in Denver (and still live there), KIMN radio was the rock ratings leader in the 1950s and 60s. Pogo was there at the time, and everybody in Denver knew who he was! I even walked by the window downtown and saw Pogo In the snake pit. It came to an end when he fell off of his chair, a snake bit him, and they gave him the wrong medicine dosage when he was in the hospital, just about killing him! I'm emailing my radio friends in the Denver area, they are going to LOVE watching this clip!

After the show when they were mingling everyone crowds around the real person while the fakes are walking around in circles alone. Reminds me of myself at a party 😅…very traumatic

And if you notice, Orson almost always headed for the good-looking ladies. I always wondered if the fakes shook hands at the end with the other fakes. Never paid attention.

As a disc jockey myself (48 years), I thought Tom Poston's question about "wowing" was excellent. Number 3's answer wasn't exactly right and I was able to eliminate him right away.

1:55 I got it right because I could see her in the film clip they showed.

Game #1: being an Italian, this story is shocking for me. Those young people from all around the world that helped preserve Florence’s masterpieces (or at least the one that survived the flood) are still remembered today as “Angeli dell’Arno”. To make into context what the 1966 Florence floods was, here’s a 12 minute video directly from the Italian Department of Interior archives:th-cam.com/video/i9Ck4is_RMA/w-d-xo.html

All the Alices had pleasant features. Orson and his gaboon viper. It is actually a very beautiful snake.

Did Orson say "oh sh*t" to Peggy? And I didn't understand that exchange about her name.

Oh he was being a wordsmith with their names and Peggy said careful with that last name b/c if you drop the C it's ass.

Round #1: I knew it was #3 when she self-deprecatingly referred to the help that students from around the world were giving as "idiot work."

Peggy is the most accurate panelist they’ve ever had.

Well, I need to start every sentence with the filler word ‘well’. And ‘if you will’ please m arkyour ballots ‘if you will’... WTF? The panelists are paid well, they understand the rules, as if they won’t. Filler words, filler phrases...
