      Thank you! With the expenses we had on topsoil/gravel deliveries in 2020 and 2021,we would have already been able to have this paid in full! It was the best option to offset rising costs along with extended wait times for each delivery. Should pay for itself quickly. We have rentals lined up already which will help too, another one of those woulda coulda shoulda moments....

    Do not buy Iron bull . the paint will start falling off in less than two year. Know many people around here who have them and all the same giant rust bucket.

    My trailer came with the rear jack stands and it was advertised with them. I did have to ask for them, but I belive they are part of the package, just not added until sale.

    I need a trailer like this for my 8 acre property. I need to haul over 100 yards of clay to my property and then haul the excavated soil to my other property. I also need a tractor and was looking at the Kioti, how has the Branson been for you?
    I been using a Kubota L2501 and need a 16ft trailer so the tractor and box blade can fit properly.
    Are these about $11,000?

      Hey bud. I can tell you as for the trailer it is one of the best decisions we could have made when it comes to basic infrastructure, the same can be said for a tractor/skidsteer. We decided on the 16 for extra yards when considering topsoil or lite weight materials (more yards). I can't remember if it has 8k or 7k axels but can tell you it weighs north of 4k pounds and we recently hauled 12k of #57 gravel with no issues. The extra length will carry our Branson with loader but that's about it. It would carry a 25hp loader and likely a box blade too. I like the welds and structure of the trailer and looked at many before going with this unit. I believe we paid a little less than 14k at our dealer. As for the Branson we are very happy with it and haven't experienced the bent loader cylinders most people are taking about. I can say we do use the tractor very hard but also it isn't abused(in my thinking that is). It lifts and pulls very well. I haven't bogged the engine rotary cutting up to 3ft tall fields, haven't bogged even tilling our gardens when they are solid from a rest winter. I change the oil every 100 hours rather than 200 to 500 like some recommend, and that's just what I do when I notice the oil breaking down, this is because I just choose to run higher rpm operating the machine. What I most like about the tractor is the weight. It is the heaviest 35 hp class tractor in the market and out weighs most 40+ hp units. That was a very large factor. I don't mind adding ballast but solid is solid. The second thing I like most is it has a passive regen for the emissions. You don't have to worry about a computer shutting you down or forcing you to set while it burns out the dpf filter. It has performed flawlessly and is economical.
      At my work we have 12 tractors ranging from 65 to 150 hp. JD, Kubota, Case, Same and ASV. They all have there issues but for me, I still went with the Branson and will do so until someone else has to make the purchasing decisions.
      I believe you will have a good helper in a dump trailer if you decide to make that happen, you can make it happen on your terms and that is a very nice thing! Hope this helps bud!

    Looks to be a very heavy duty trailer. I had a 14' gooseneck trailer by Big Tex. It was very well built too. Only, it was too much for my F 250 with a V 8 gas engine 5.4 liter. My trailer empty weighed in at 4100 lbs. If I'd had the diesel engine I would've kept it. I do believe a 14' bumper pull trailer might be a good fit
    /application for my truck.

      Good morning Dean, hope you are doing well friend! Honestly we wanted a gooseneck but opted for the bumper pull because of the tractor. The cost was slightly more for the gooseneck but would have made accommodations with the tractor in other areas and we just didn't want to do that. Our plan was originally to go with a 14 footer but the cost of the 16 wasn't much more. We will be hauling more soil than stone and will be limited by our 7.3 too. It does ok but 15 is about all it can handle from the bumper. This year was so difficult and frustrating trying to even find a driver, OMG! Our total costs for delivery alone would have paid for half this trailer easily(trailer was less than 13k). I work at a nursery and we have soil I can purchase,just finding drivers and getting one to work. Very frustrating and cost us some growing time along with doing repairs on wash outs. This year had been very wet which causes erosion which well, you can imagine, makes things difficult! So this will go a long way toward easing these pains and we can only blame ourselves when we have these problems! Stay warm bud, good chatting with ya! Ric

    If it is like the other Ironbull dump trailers I’ve seen, it is called a three way tailgate because in addition to the two ways you showed, barn style and spreader, it also goes down like a pickup truck bed.

    • @CornucopiaFarmstead
      @CornucopiaFarmstead  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes it actually does have that option and unfortunately I didn’t see it when we picked it up but also the dealer did not show it either. It has pins with safe clips that can be removed. We have never used it this way but could possibly be helpful if needed. Thanks for commenting! Ric

      @@darwindropmazda they have basically 2 different frame designs. One where the dump bed and frame split the load capacity and one where the dump has it's capacity and the frame is built independently (the type we have). I know they don't advertise this but in my opinion this is the way it looks based on how it is built. Very pleased, good luck with your decision and please let us know!

      Ya know we pull this with our ‘99 250. It is a short wb 2wd extcab. The geometry they have designed with the 16’ length and the location of the wheels is great for our 250 and even on longwb 4 doors we have pulled with too. The rest of the frame and box are great, I believe the lift cylinder is probably well underrated for the weight, great trailer just wish we were able to have purchased it before all the inflation prices did what they did. Great trailer for sure!

    • @CornucopiaFarmstead
      @CornucopiaFarmstead  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don’t think you can go wrong either way. I believe the scissor has more stability up high and maybe if you are unloading on an incline. I can’t say for sure either way but I’m just going on my own physics opinions for that matter. We have enjoyed using ours and it has rewarded us with great and consistent work along with rock solid durability too. It is very expensive to have someone hall for you I know that! I have used ours to haul equipment to a job site then load from the site and haul the same equipment back home, by having the 16 ft I can load an implement on my truck and keep my loader on the tractor and still have plenty of room. 16’ is a nice length if your machine is small enough. Good luck with whatever you decide to purchase!
