    2024 ஆரம்பத்துலயும் இது election year , market ரொம்ப volatile a இருக்கும் , ரொம்ப selective a large cap மட்டும் வாங்கனும் னு சொன்னீங்க. But mid cap, small cap நல்ல performance கொடுத்திருக்கு. இந்த வருஷமும் அதே cautious stand தான் எடுக்க சொல்றீங்க. Let us see this year . What will happen.

      Higher and longer the returns, it becomes more and more riskier :)
      In 2022, it was risky, 2023 riskier, 2024 riskiest.
      30% cagr for five years... It is not sustainable.
      Small and midcap is due for correction. Let's see.

    Both SS and AS is doing a great service for Tamil society! Both are having different views and it is their choice. The individuals can decide themselves what (Passive fund/Active fund/Direct stock picking) is good for them by learning and doing mistakes over a period of time.

      If you know the language used by such persons against genuine, accredited professionals, you will probably be far more harsh than I am. I merely told the truth about how little they know from textbook learning from the wrong books . If I said it mildly it won't even register.

      I am not here for name and fame. I need neither . I don't think people understand the magnitude of the miseducation going on. If it means getting a bad name and no fame, I will happily accept it. @srinivasanramasami421

  • @pradeepstanlean
    @pradeepstanlean 17 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

    Logical flaws in ur argument.
    1) your boring stocks beating nifty in 2-3 year timeline doesnt prove that active investing is better than passive investing. The right proof would be compare the what % total active large cap funds consistently beat an index like NIFTY. If more than 50% of such active funds beat nifty, then we can agree. Can you bring this data point.
    2) timeline of ur comparison is 2-3 years.. but you urself advocate long term beyond 5 yr timeline. Right thing to compare is all long term active large cap funds vs nifty over a 10-15-20 year timeline. What does this data say
    3) what are the fundamentals - collective growth in revenue, margins and cashflows. And valuation of nifty vs the active funds.. you are comparing only stock price movements.. stock price movements alone indicate quality in 2-3 yr timeline
    4) is there a way one can find out ‘better performing’ active funds other than going thru M2W. What % of MF distributors’ recommendations have beat index
    5) lastly, i dont think people advocate passive investing in small and mid cap. Their advice is on NIFTY and probably next NIFTY.
    Hope i ll get a logical answer for the above questions. Happy to be corrected if you can talk abt the above data.
    PS- i am neither a fanboy nor do i agree with all things that the other TH-camr says

    • @ShyamSekhar-ithought
      @ShyamSekhar-ithought 17 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      All these things are possible and those who believe in it will know how to do it. Others can keep on questioning. No problems with that. Find your answers if you can on your own. No one owes you answers.

      @@Zero_know-how there is no problem if one substantiates the claim with right data points instead of just using only his example and generalising an opinion that may mislead naive investors..
      Why not just claim he can do better than nifty? In this case, nobody has any problem.
      Why claim entire active investing is better than index? How many MF distributors really give better returns(their fee adjusted) than index?

    • @Zero_know-how
      @Zero_know-how 17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@pradeepstanleanI understand your point. TH-cam is an unregulated area and anybody can claim anything! There are some youtubers to confuse & create panic among people as well 😀 The viewers should be able to judge and decide what is best for them. A person can use the paid investment advisors service or he/she can learn on their own and invest.

    Sir.. first you have to understand the difference between active and passive investing. What you’re doing with boring stocks is actually passive investing only. Nalla brainwash panreenga unga viewers ah. Active investing is buying and selling stocks as per short term performance. The so called fool you mention in this video is against mutual fund investing itself. He suggests passive funds so that as an investor with less knowledge I have a transparency where my money goes and how much weightage is given to that company. Also, the cost is comparatively less. And the cons of active investing will be known only during a bear market phase. Let’s c how your passive boring stock portfolio does in bear market.
