  • Walk-Around tour of the amazing P51 Titan Mustang Aircraft. This replica is a kit build and does 300 km/h! Not only that, it has a car engine under the hood, which is revealed in the video. You will be amazed what it actually is. This is 1 of only 4 in Australia. The colour scheme is in honour of Ferocious Frankie, the famous Mustang Warbird.
    Thank you to Ryan for taking the time to film this video with us, his Aircraft is truly amazing.

    Amazing - I didn't realise we had Titan aircraft here in Australia. And great interview - this kid is a better interviewer than most channel hosts I have come across on YT - Really good questions. 👏🏽

      Hi Devan… thanks for the kind words, and I appreciate you watching my video. This is a very nice Aircraft and Ryan who owns it, was very passionate about it. I just posted a video yesterday of an interview of a Douglas DC-3 if you are into older Aircraft. It was an A380 captain that gave me the interview. It’s on my channel. Thanks again for watching.

    You're doing great work here, but the constant zoom pans during the intro interview are doing my head in. You've got great content and style, let that speak for itself. Subscribed.

      Thanks William, glad you enjoyed my content. Yes, we are toning down on the editing to make it more natural. Sometimes when the camera is too far away, you don’t know until the editing, so you have to zoom in, but I’ll take your point. Thanks for subscribing.

    You should try installing an Audi V12 in it with over 1,000 h.p.. Then it becomes a Thunder Mustang!

      These can barely handle the V8 conversion and become so nose-heavy they are like a yard dart. We used to cobble them together with an extra layer of aluminum inside the baggage compartment so they would hopefully hold together under the stress of the LS.

    • @richardbrowne3641
      @richardbrowne3641 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @popsfereal Titan T-51's have a V12 option. Why can't the carbon fiber SW-51 can?

    • @popsfereal
      @popsfereal 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@richardbrowne3641 a V12 option? That was a one-off deal and John's personal plane.

    • @popsfereal
      @popsfereal 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@richardbrowne3641 but yes it was designed for a 4-cylinder engine and now you want to up it to a V12? While the V12 was smoother than the LS it came with a whole set of problems of its own. This airplane was never designed for this kind of weight or power and there have been patch and cobbled fixes since the V6 version.

    • @popsfereal
      @popsfereal 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      These were originally designed for a 4-cylinder Rotax, then some were converted to a V6, . And finally someone got the great idea to put in LS Chevy crate engine in them
      at this point they are extremely nosy and very dangerous because of the engine quits you're out of luck.

    Sorry to be the negative nancy here but Never fly an airplane with a car engine. July 21st John Williams the owner of Titan aircraft and builder of the T-51 just passed away while flying one, propeller hub failure and then a high rpm surge breaking the propeller. R.I.P

    • @zooomdelivery8460
      @zooomdelivery8460 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Not a negative Nancy at all. Maybe just a Nancy ! As your comment points out the issue when John Williams lost his life was a prop issue! Not the engine ! A prop manufacturer that has built many props for a long time . Car engines are far more modern and far more reliable these days . That plane has 4 fuel pumps , 2 engine computers and 2 ignition systems . The only thing it doesn’t have over a traditional aero engine ( that uses 1930s tech ) is dual spark plugs and let’s face it, the platinum plugs in the Suzuki are far better then the old dual electrode plugs in aero engines ! Also uses modern synthetic oil and not old mineral oils . It also wasn’t the hub that failed in John’s aircraft, he was a mate of mine and I think respect should be shown to him and the aircraft he created. Hope this has fulfilled the attention you are lacking for having a stupid comment on a young kids TH-cam video! Thanks BeSnappy! Great video! Great plane !

      @@zooomdelivery8460 the reviews of the accident point out the hub was at fault bit the prop no need to be a ahole dude we all miss the guy and you knowing him also adds nothing to It. Talk about respect while saying my comment was stupid...right.
