most stupid carb idea i've ever seen. carb intake is facing upwards and without a filter. also it has a funnel. anything that falls there is gonna end up directly inside your combustion chamber.
These carburetors are called downdraft type. They come in handy when you don't have enough space around the engine. Also the shorter intake pipe speeds up the mixture delivery. If I'm right there are funnels with integrated filters in them.
@@RANGOArts Sure. If there's not an air filter, all this dirt can damage the cylinder-piston block after lots of use. I plan on buying this carb but will fit it to the airbox. The carb seems to be coming just in the right spot. A free-flow air filter inside the airbox will then do the trick.
Sorry for the late reply to your comment The things you are concerned about are fine for my daily use When the car is parked, the carburetor is covered, and even if it suddenly rains, this installation location will not cause any problems while driving. I don't drive in places where dust is flying in everyday use, and there aren't many places like that in Japan. thank you for your concern
