I struggle with timeming, I don't know if is my problem with slow speed, procrastination or is it a real slowly process..
Hi David. We all paint at our own pace, and that definitely becomes quicker with practice. I'm now quite a fast painter. It's hard to say about timing, as you'll paint at the pace which feels comfortable for you. But I would imagine that you could complete this project in 7 days. You'll become a faster painter with more experience :-)

I notice you leaned on your painting as you worked I always thought that might leave body oils on the paper..what are your thoughts on this please? Also could you (me) do this in acrylics or wouldnt you get the layers right?
I'm sorry to hear about your loss Jenny. I don't find that leaning on the paper causes an issue, but you could always place another piece of paper under your arm/hand if you wanted to. My layering method is specific to working with watercolour paints, because they're transparent. You could always experiment with acrylics in your sketchbook, painting small patches to see how it turns out :-)
