No seating ritual? I have one of these coming (EC Reverse Dot) to go against a Genera 10ml Reso head, it's probably going to really beef up my snare, as my current skins are old and of the one ply, thin variety. If you recall, what reso head might you have been using in this video?
Nor tryin to sound like a butthead tho the snare wires sound choked. I've noticed that I get that buzzin when the snares are too tight (can be many reasons tho).I actually have 2 o those heads, 1 on my marchin snare & 1 on the kit snare, no need for mufflin at all wit the EC reverse dot which is great cause I'm not a fan of muffling at all. Btw, Ace Royal a new or old brand name? I could swear I seen Joey Harges (Lizzy Borden) playin them back in the late 80's, thanks 👍

Seems like a good head, but I am hearing a ring that I do not like. Maybe just a matter of taste in sound. Thanks for the video!
