You posted this centric BC will work with factory booster. My JK already has the J8 and I believe it is a crown. It is leaking at the grommet between MC and reservoir. Will the centric work with j8 booster or will I have to get a doctors booster again😭? Thanks
@@ThisIsTheWay-5280 I’m sorry you are dealing with that. If you are running the J8 from crown….you will have to pull it all out. Go back to the factory booster and then put on the other MC I mentioned. The issue you are having from crown is VERY common. If you are going to run the j8….it has to be Mopar or you will end up with the issue again. The crown kit is junk. I’m sure they’ll fix it eventually. But they always seem to leak.
Yup! That is another way to tell for sure. I’m not a fan of the garden week torch. It’s often propane and such a large flame that it can’t be accurate when you don’t want to heat certain things that are close, at least not all the time.
Depends on a couple of things. I like to weld a bit slower. So I like a slightly thing wire even for thicker steel. I typically use an .030 but if it’s thin sheet I’ll go down to the thinner wire. EXTREMELY rarely is it thicker than .030 because of the speed I weld.
Great info as always!
Thanks for the support brother.

If you grind on it and it shoots bright white sparks it is steel.
Get a garden weed torch to pre-heat metal for welding.

What mig wire would you recommend?

And what about wire type? I purchased some Ni99 wire as I wasn't sure if normal wire would work.
How can I get the 90 degree tube fix for the catalytic converter?
You’ll have to look around the internet. Lots of places sell them.
