❤ Ruka 5 and half years Chikita 1 year and 8 months. Average about 4 years of hard training to other 5 members before selected OT7 May 2023 from many trainees.Official debut day 4-1-2024 with Sheesh by OT7 including Ahyeon who had health issue before debut. BlackPink also had about 5 years hard training ❤
Wow that's about the length of the average university degree (at least in the states), that's serious training
Blackpink girls had 5 to 6 years as trainees. Jennie was the longest period.

This song is the story of their journey through years of training to achieve their dream to debut. The ups, the downs, the good times, the tears. Their relentless pursuit to reach their goal and become, Babymonster.
The pianist is Rora and the guitar player is Pharita.
In addition to being trainees from as early as 11 years old, most of them had childhood gigs in modeling, acting, and/or singing groups so they already had experience and knew joining YG was an opportunity to achieve their dream...to be young and rich idols.
I became a fan of them since they released the first videos with their "Live Performance" (in black and white), when they became known to the public as members of BABYMONSTER.
Even now that you are reacting to the video I couldn't hold back the tears.
Yes, it's a compilation clips of Member Introductions videos and also their Last Evaluation series.

Some over 5 years, one just overr a year.
Fans call themselves Baemons but I am getting hints from Sheesh, that song seem to be suggesting Babymon, tell a friend, tell a friend.
Others have said it. They have live performances on YG channel. Black and white vids. Next would be introductions on their own channel. And they have last evaluation vids. It’s a big commitment. Probably 4 hours to watch plus the editing. But if you’re interested in them or just what kpop trainees go through it’s worth watching. It’s a getting old but still seems decent for views. Otherwise just before bed every night watch an episode for yourself so you can catch up.

Pre debut usually means that the girls are still trainees and have not yet signed as idols as is the case for Dream. But because one of the girls Ahyeon have been sick, Batter Up OT6 and Stuck in the middle OT6 are also now also considered by YG and fans as pre debut even though 6 girls have actually been signed up as idols. Sheesh OT7 is now considered the official debut with all 7 members even though it is really only Ahyeon that is debuting as an idol.
This was before thay were baby monster ,just to show what it cost them, becomiinng B M . WAS NOT FREE.

Some of them train for more than 5 yrs. 1 yr for the least trained one. The youngest one.
That's serious time investment but it was so worth it
