Chevy is killing it lately. Refreshed Traverse and Equinox, brand new Tahoe, Suburban and Corvette. Brand new Blazer, Trailblazer coming soon and the pickup trucks, which are relatively new (a year or two old). Well done Chevy. Keep the momentum

Definitely a positive styling change. The previous year was a little too depressing looking IMO.
Me and my wife have a 2018 premier version with the 1.5l turbo. We love it. Comfortable on long trips, and the grandkids our happy with the wifi. Great MPG.
We have one too. We get 33-35mpg on long highway trips.
It's a pig! Rather pay more for the 2.0 turbo need the power to move!
I own an Eqiunox and I love mines.
I actually like the current gen's looks, better looking than most of the offerings out there even from the Japanese market. I can dig this exterior refresh and I am glad that for the RS model the double duals are not fake, even though there is no need for double duals, singles would have worked just fine. I myself have been looking at one with the 2.0 L Turbo, I have driven one before and they are quick for what they are, plus when equipped can tow 3500 lbs. Even though this doesn't help the manufacturer I would only buy as a one or two year Certified Preowned and save $10,000. I wish the LT would come with leather as an option instead of having to go to the Premier or use an outside the dealer business to put leather on their seats.

Awesome vehicle. I thought a few years from now, I can buy a used 2021 Equinox LT AWD. I should get one for a reasonable price, if the price didn't go up for this refresh.
I have a 2019 Premier model and I love it. Has the 2.0 AWD.
Looks good. Just bought a Traverse RS for my wife and she loves it; such a comfortable ride.

I have a 2014 equinox with the 3.6L V6 301hp AWD. Still really happy with it. When you want, it goes to warp speed. I’m wondering how quick the 2L turbo is.

Wife switched last year to the the GMC Terrain 2.0 turbo because the Equinox just did not have style ….I will have to take her shopping when this model hits …...looks so much better with the few updates!!!!!

I like the front and rear a lot the only thing I do not care for on the current gen equinox is the side profile, the way the rear end slopes down makes it look like a van to me, other wise great car! Still loving my 2005 equinox
I would have considered an Equinox for my next vehicle but I couldn't get over the minivan looking rear. Bought a 2020 Escape 2.0T because it doesn't and has the best specs/drive. Glad someone else sees this issue although the 2021 shown here is a little better.
I have a 2018 and love it, only complaint I have is the All wheel drive button and light is in a poor location on the centre console in front of the gear stick, easy to activate the AWD by error and not notice the tiny light that tells you it is engaged.
Definitely like the new look of the equinox the new head & taillights are a nice upgrade and look sporty👍I believe this new look they will make equinox sales skyrocket.☄

PHGamer its all looks when it’s 6, 8, 10 or 12...
My Harley has 2 cylinders and dual exhaust with the cross pipe to balance the back pressure. It really doesn't matter how many cylinders an engine has when it comes to dual exhaust, it's mostly cosmetic.
I would easily choose this over a Cruze.
Same platform, and that's why the Cruze was discontinued
@@anthonywebber2211 no wonder I don't see the Cruze anymore at the dealerships. And if I do, they're used and have alot of miles on them. I had a 2017 Chevy Cruze fully loaded with sunroof and Bose audio and I loved it alot! It was the dealership's rental, had it for 2 years and I recently just got into a car accident last month and totaled it. I bought a 2019 Equinox and I think the Equinox is kinda the SUV version of the Cruze. Sorry so long lol.
I just wish they could add a feature to be able to control the 4WD on it like a positraction type of feature to lock it all together when things get dicey.

Don't get the sunroof if you want to drive with it open or if you do you need ear plugs because it will drive you nuts.

2013-2017 Chevy Equinox was the best one they ever made. Just over 300 horsepower in those things.
Ordered a 16 brand new for my wife. 3.6 v6 301 h.p AWD terrible gas mileage but she loves it. I wanted AWD for the winters but about 15 mpg is the average. She does a lot of local stop and go driving!
Now that’s a good redesign!

The word speed hard to understand with a 1.5 turboed yes but when is the auto world coming out with a real preforming 4 banger 2.0 turboed seems to be the norm

i have a 2019 terrain and it has the levers in the back for the rear seats, but it does have those stupid switches for shifting!!! i hate them! BUT I LOVE THE POWER OF THE 2.0 TURBO!!!

Do your self a favor and don’t ever use manual mode for performance driving, just use for down grade speed control(braking). To do otherwise may cause the shift to be delayed (up or down) with violent engagement severely damaging the transmission. Just leave it in D and you should get an easy 200k miles.
Can the auto start stop be switched off?

@@rjmzz430 I got the 2019 version this spring which is 2.0turbo with LTG engine, instead of LSY. in china, the new LSY engine not coming out yet. i guess it will this fall. maybe.
..meh... it looks ok. But the RS badge should mean something. Sport tuned suspension. More HP. Etc.
Del1000r tbh even if it just stiffened up the suspension and chassis with a strut brace and maybe some small aero to reduce drag and prevent so much air going under the car i think alot of people would be happy cause not many companies do much performance wise, but also saying that while the 1.5 is pretty small and probably shouldnt be in a crossover the 2.0 is actually pretty good its the exact same 2.0 used in opels and Vauxhalls vxr just with a detune and better economy

Mike yeah the c7 was quick but it was an amazing car for the money. I feel like the whole car industry is moving way too fast to the point where eventually every car will be electric and have the same features with the same looks. Thats gonna be a boring future in terms of designs and features but cars will be crazy fast if tire technologies improve.
ELITE RACER45 oh yeah. The c7 is a fantastic car. Today’s cars are so well mannered even when they’re making nearly 500hp. That was definitely not true even as of 20 years ago. Horsepower is cheap these days. It allows them to focus attention and resources on other areas.
I have a 2012 equinox and I love it the room in the back is phenomenal plus I enjoy that the back seat can move forward and back with that being said I looked at a 2019 a few months ago and it seemed that it had less room inside then my 2012 the back seat didn’t move like mine almost as if they put the car in the dryer it also seems to have a lower roof then my 2012 so I was a little sad that the vehicle was so much smaller and this one looks even smaller Which saddens me so my question is is it actually smaller than my 2012 or is it an optical illusion also did they bring back the sliding options in the back seat to allow more leg room
rachell signor it has the same leg room but smaller trunk , it 400 lb less ,4in shorter. It has a 170 hp turbo , 250 turbocharged engine.

It's worth it trust me. I get 23 mpg in my malibu 2.0 turbo but I drive hard! The 1.5 is a pig can't get out of its own way!
2020 Blazer... I have a V6, my seats fold completely flat. The better interior on the Blazer...I do like those quad pipes though...

Tires are H rated. Meaning a maximum sustained speed speed of 130 MPH. Which means the engine computer will cut fuel at about 125. Yet it has a 160 MPH speedometer. WHY? Why not just make the speedo max out at 120 and call it good? Then you can widen the spaces between markings so I can more easily monitor the speeds at which we normally drive, like in the 45 to 75 range. What percentage of buyers of this vehicle will ever attempt to drive it past 120? Less than 1% I'm thinking. So why make a speedo that goes up to 160 in a vehicle in which the fuel cutoff will never allow such a speed ( and probably aero drag won't allow either) and no on wants to drive it that fast either? Just stupid.

GM needs to make an electric awd version! EV is the future and they're over here messing with turbos. I have a 2014 equinox and it's a good car but I'm really considering switching to an EV. If GM made this electric with 250+ miles of range I'd buy it in a heart beat.

I have a 2016 Malibu, and the dashboard layout and steering wheel layout is almost identical to the Malibu, so not much has changed in their imagination, boring as usual.

Outside is nice but the interior, outside of a few moved switches, it is identical to my 2013 Equinox LTZ, right down to the red piping on the seats. Yawn.

The seat-backs are horrible. Unless you are as skinny as a rail the sides of the seats dig into your back. The power lift-gate button should go back up on the overhead console in the middle so the passenger can push it when needed also. GM moving them all to the driver door only was a dumb move.
Funny we just took one for a test drive enormous room in back seat and comfortable.
Cadillac stablemate they they have the proper gear shifter.
