I just noticed the tag says #688! I've been watching your videos for over 12 years and I still remember when Eric Meal Time was an irregular feature I used to (and still do) look forward to. I'm amazed and grateful that you manage to find so many new and interesting things to share with us. I do miss some of your old videos where you'd explore places on your skateboard, teach magic tricks, and who can ever forget Earl! Keep doing you and thanks for all of the years of sharing and entertainment!!!

@@ericsurf6 Do! What first sucked me in was the juggling and magic. Some really cool surf vacation videos and some corny but endearing magic vids was a nice way to top off a night.

And I remember when hot oxtail soup was considered exotic from a vending machine. Mostly for the faint taste of hot chocolate and sweet tea mixed in. Though I do remember (just) a hot sausage vending machine on a campsite in Denmark in 1972. This looked much more fun. Loving the show

The Sausages looked quite interesting, never knew you could get something like that from a vending machine. Quite the learning tool here, and what Japan has to offer in terms of food service too. Seeing each of these videos is a good learning tool Eric, please keep up the good work.

I remembered helping my mother make cookies at Christmas time that were dipped in chocolate with wax and it always surprised me why wax was used until she explained that it helped it not melt so quickly.
Another great Eric meal time. Bamkuchen is a favourite of mine. I made it successfully when I was in my late teens and early 20s but can't do it now.

Once again Eric, your video didn't disappoint! I love your vending machine videos! They are my favorite! I'm probably strange but vending machines fascinate me! I'm amazed by the different varieties of foods and items available in the vending machines there in Japan. I live in Southeast Kansas and will never have the opportunity to visit Japan so I kinda live vicariously through your videos!! Lol! I can't remember if I've said it lately but I love that you've gone back to being clean shaven and nice hair!! Keep up the great vibes and stay safe and positive!! Much love from Southeast Kansas!!

America needs to step up and bring vending machines here, as those in Japan.

I always enjoy your videos, and the vending machine ones hold a particular fascination for me, and it makes me wonder why it is that japan has not only a much higher volume of vending machines, but such a huge breadth of variety, is it just a trend, they are popular because theyve been popular before, or is it some peculiarity of the japanese psyche and culture that lends itself to them, is it perhaps that given the seemingly rigid formality of the culture that a faceless machine is often easier and less stressful. insights welcome.

I think its fascinating how many vending machines Japan has. And the variety seems to be endless. In America we have our basic snacks and the occasional Hot Pocket if you would. But Japan has taken the vending machine to a whole other level. And its awesome to see how another culture comes up with ideas such as those.

What I like about those Japanese vending machines is the care they put into avoiding the big drop, that can damage your purchase. In the UK, all you get is money in and Bang the item hits the bottom.

I love watching your videos. One of these day I’ll be able to travel to Japan and get to try all the awesome vending machines.

It was a sausage party at Eric's house! 🌭 I was hoping you would get some rolls from Pompadour to accommodate those glizzies! (Can you imagine that Chorizo one on a croissant?) Meccha oishii! 🤪
