    Hello, sir.
    Did you end up getting another pair of these? I had heard about this weird distortion with these as well on a sound forum, but it turns out it was the unit that was defective.
    All the best.

      @TheRealNewBlackMusic Thank you for taking the time to reply.
      That is so disappointing to hear. I just ordered them and they will atrive today.
      Do you have any recommendations on tests i could run to check for these issues? I will leave them one for a few hours everyday first.

      @igorsenayoutube the main thing is that they sound good maybe they need a long break-in period I don't know but if you can get a pair without the artifacts you definitely have a great pair of studio monitors but the reality is if I had known ahead of time that they were made in China I would never have bought them. Peace!

      @@TheRealNewBlackMusic They just arrived and i listened to a few hours on them. They sound amazing. So far, no issues. But the hiss they produce if i raise my sound interface volume is way too high. Would have been nice to have a volume knob on the back. In my jbls lsr 305p mk2 it helps to reduce the hiss.
      I will keep testing them throughout this week and see what happens.
      Yeah, products seem to be getting worse and worse in terms of quality. 99.99% of stuff is made in China, with really poor quality control.

      @TheRealNewBlackMusic Ended up returning mine.
      I ended up fixing most of the hiss because the problem was my sound interface. Once i swapped it, there is still hiss but less than the jbl lsr 305p mk2(although the focal alpha 50 evo's hiss is sharper and less smooth).
      After the honeymoon phase with the amazing low end for a 5" speaker, i noticed my ears were getting tired very quickly. Even with the high cut in the back of the monitors to -3, the higher midrange was still a bit weird. The tweeter colors the sound in an unpleasant way.
      I don't know if this would change once they opened up but i can't wait for that, since i only have a few more days to try them.
      Another issue i noticed is a kind of electrical noise coming from them. This doesn't happen with my other monitors. One of the speakers had it both from the front and the back and the other, only in the back, which is weird. I couldn't hear it from my listening position, but if i got closer, i could hear it, on top of the hiss.
      Such a shame, because i thought they nailed so many things with this monitor...
      If only they gave us more options in the back to tailor the sound or some dsp within the monitor.
