At the same time when The Omega Man came out the youth of that day barely aknowledge The Last Man on Earth and as we know both of these movies are based off of I am Legend. Both very good movies.
I think when movies like this add little things like the Woodstock movie marquee it add the the "reality" as if this could, is, or did happen.

Its a classic and well done movie. I saw it at the drive inn as a 7 yr old. seen it many times sence.

That film always freaked me out.
Heston's onscreen interracial romance (I forget the actresses name...) was ahead of its time.
