Kellin's voice just doesn't fit though, like at all. I could listen to any of Kurt, Johnny and Tillian's DGD albums and they all fit and work. But not Kellin. He is a good singer but not for DGD.
Would have been garbage, Craig Owens is the only real choice and someone needs to make it happen, Kurt and Tillian were both just side projects by comparison

I think kellin has the vocal talent to shift to different work like this, doesn’t mean that I think kurt johnny & tillian aren’t good or amazing because they’re the dgd we know today but I think people are bashing this too hard saying that it doesn’t fit him

It'd be kinda crazy if* Kellin came back and filled the void of Tillian now that he's out. There's not many ways GDG can go any higher I think, but that'd be 1 way I think. I know they have Andrew now and he could certainly step up, but if they instead had him for "lower" octave singing and Kellin was doing the higher range vocals that seems wicked.

I loved SWS back in the early 2010s because of how ridiculously good the first 2 albums where but after they got rid of their writer and Jack started doing 90% of the work the band went downhill imo. Feel had completely diffrent diffrent vibes and the lyrics were mediocre at best. Gossip was complete dog water and now their comeback on the genre that pretty much died out (with few exceptions) is too late and still feels mediocre
Agreed. With Ears to See and Eyes to Hear was an amazing debut and Let's Cheers to This was awesome too. I really enjoyed the non clean vocals they used to add into their music. The shit they put out now is just so bleh - it's sad.
