Welcome to the NF journey. One of the best story tellers in the rap game. You have to take the entire journey to understand the whole story about his life. Much of his music and videos are often connected. You'll see one element in many other videos and you'll hear references back in the lyrics. His videos aren't all 100 percent connected, but if you start at Intro and work your way through, you'll get it soon enough. He is UBER talented. He always leaves “breadcrumbs” from video to video. I discovered him on his Mansion album, but everything he does is gold. He is does not curse an in any of his songs. In fact in clouds, when he said ballsy, that’s about as close as he has got to cussing. He isn’t flashy, he is himself and his lyrics are his heart on his sleeve. DEFINITELY need to start back at his album Mansion, then Therapy Session, Perception then The Search. Only rapper I listen to consistently today of the “new” rappers.

Hi Jen! Looks like you've already gotten a lot of good information about NF. The best recommendation I can give of his music is that, until I found him, I HATED rap! Hated, with a capital 'H.' Didn't understand it; thought it was ludicrous! I accidentally ran across 'How Could You Leave Us,' and I've been hooked ever since! Hope you WILL check out his work. I think you'll become a fan. Just so you know; regarding his voice? He doesn't usually sound like that. I've only heard that 'voice' in a few other of his songs. I think he uses it when he wants to be a bit playful. He also has a really good singing voice. (It was him doing the singing in 'How Could You Leave Us,' and he also did the chours on several other songs.) He's DEFINITELY a unique artist. I really hope you go on the 'NF Journey.'

Watch the videos because he connects every song & video from all his albums. Pay attention to everything in the video like balloons, cart, keys numbers etc...it means something, he hides messages, clues etc. It's literally a movie whenever you listening to NF 🔥🔥. Welcome to the NF journey. One of the best story tellers in the rap game. You have to take the entire journey to understand the whole story about his life.
Much of his music and videos are often connected. You'll see one element in many other videos and you'll hear references back in the lyrics. His videos aren't all 100 percent connected, but if you start at Intro and work your way through, you'll get it soon enough.
Certain things like black balloons, a shopping cart, a cage and some others tend to have meaning. You have to pay attention and never end an NF video till the very end.
On certain songs, bring tissues. You will tear up... Almost everyone does. His songs tackle mental illness, depression and he's real with everything. I will watch every reaction you do of his as well as Tom MacDonald's.

He is UBER talented. He always leaves “breadcrumbs” from video to video. I discovered him on his Mansion album, but everything he does is gold. He is does not curse an in any of his songs. In fact in clouds, when he said ballsy, that’s about as close as he has got to cussing. He isn’t flashy, he is himself and his lyrics are his heart on his sleeve. DEFINITELY need to start back at his album Mansion, then Therapy Session, Perception then The Search. Only rapper I listen to consistently today of the “new” rappers.

So basically she did do prison time, I just wanted to comment, not to be a dick, but because I felt bad for assuming something about someone else's situation when you commented on my stuff. I just wanted to apologize for that. I hate when people judge me in similar ways. Seeing her reaction just brought that into my mind and wanted to thank you for reminding me of something that I didn't do for someone else that I always hope doesn't happen to me. the journey which is about 45 songs long and it gose across all his music I know it a lot of reaction but it's well worth it you get to learn the type of person nf is and you get to learn more about his childhood and the thing he been through and the things he is still dealing with

Hi Jen! Looks like you've already gotten a lot of good information about NF. The best recommendation I can give of his music is that, until I found him, I HATED rap! Hated, with a capital 'H.' Didn't understand it; thought it was ludicrous! I accidentally ran across 'How Could You Leave Us,' and I've been hooked ever since! Hope you WILL check out his work. I think you'll become a fan. Just so you know; regarding his voice? He doesn't usually sound like that. I've only heard that 'voice' in a few other of his songs. I think he uses it when he wants to be a bit playful. He also has a really good singing voice. (It was him doing the singing in 'How Could You Leave Us,' and he also did the chours on several other songs.) He's DEFINITELY a unique artist. I really hope you go on the 'NF Journey.'
