He mentions the balloons in the perception album, he’s addicted to them. He feels like it’s all he has left of his mom. So he hides out lays low, and won’t let it go. He checked into a mental facility after that tour and wrote a lot of the search, including “Nate” which is a holy shit song. If you watch his live steams his record label makes him do he’s very shy and angry and annoyed. I don’t pretend to know his pain but it’s clearly a monumental amount.

Nate struggled long and hard with mental health. He knew he had anxiety and depression. Just after his Perception tour, he fell apart. The fame from his music felt like a trap. He went into a short inpatient therapy. He found out he has OCD also and everything started clicking. You can see the steady progress forward after that - there is more flexing, more humor in his music now. 😎 #NF
Also did you catch the line on this track where he said “remember back in no name I said fame called?” No name is a precursor to this album where just fires venom at the camera walking down the street. And that’s when I was damn this dude is insane good

AMEN, i respect you sooo much on so many levels you dont even understand, i went thru the same situation with my ex and at first i kept blaming myself that maybe i had done something to deserve that etc, and i thought hard at first that i was being to kindhearted i need to be like the person hurting me and not care about anyone else, it felt like the bad guy always wins type of thing but quickly realized that i am a much stronger person if i dont let all the bad things that happened to me make me bitter. So i kept being me thru all the bullshit being dealt my way and lost alot of fake people and im at a point in life where i am so much better off without those snakes in my circle. For lack of a better word your just a fucking awesome person. The world needs more people like you, much love :)

Balloons are his burdens if you listened carefully you would hear him say it over and over again but you don’t listen do you the smile is to tell people that he won’t put a fake smile on when he is on stage he tells you how he feels shows how he feels

Black balloons are a security blanket, he uses them for comfort, we all have something we use the same way, people pointing out other people's flaw need to realize that whenever they are pointing at others there are 3 fingers pointing back at themselves, we all have to reach rock bottom before we can bounce back and become our best selves, beautiful as always ❤🌹

Hey Jen, I'm happy for your recovery❤️, I wasn't planning on sharing what I'm about to share because I just wanted to comment and say that NF in the song, said that he sent the song to "Fame". In his song "No Name", he said "Fame" called him and he hung up on Fame lol. That's all I had planned to say but when I went to comment I got an overwhelming feeling that I should share this with you.
Like I said I'm so happy for your recovery. I did the same thing 3 years ago. I started using softer drugs in my teens after developing PTSD and and INTENSE 24/7 Anxiety and Panic Disorder because of sexual abuse really early, then physical and mental abuse from a step-father later until I was 16 and my Mom took me and my 6 year old brother and left. Anyway I started using drugs out of desperation from feeling NOTHING but INTENSE FEAR for no reason every second of every day and trying to medicate that because I thought it was the only way I could get any relief from it. 3 years ago at 30 years old I almost died in my apartment from a meth and heroin overdose. As I had crawled to the bathroom and pulled myself up onto the toilet and was continuously splashing cold water on my face to keep myself awake because I just had this KNOWING that if I let myself close my eyes I was going to go to sleep and not wake up. As I was trying to do that SUDDENLY, what I'm about to post below LITERALLY played out in my mind in PICTURE FORM all in a SPLIT SECOND I saw ALL OF IT flash before my eyes as I was sitting on that toilet. I wasn't familiar with it at the time but I'VE MADE MYSELF VERY FAMILIAR with it since.
This is a Parable told by Jesus (God incarnate) to a crowd of people as a way to explain His (God's) relationship to us. When you read this, just understand that in the parable the Father is God, the OLDER brother represents the Angelic Race that was created before us but are also called Son's of God, the SERVANTS represent all the other intelligent beings in God's Kingdom but are not made in God's image so they don't look like Him and the YOUNGER brother represents every Son or Daughter of Adam that recognizes their sin nature and their need for SOMEONE (our own creator who decides)to take the punishment for that inherited nature that we ALL inherit from Adam that separates us from Him so we aren't eternally separated from our creator, but the person must use their free will to except the gift and the restoration that it brings, He won't FORCE it on ANYONE who doesn't want Him. But that sin nature that drives us to do evil it's inherited through the male line because it was Adams responsibility, not Eve's hence why Christ had to be born of a virgin, if He had had a human father He wouldn't be God for one thing, and number 2 He would have inherited the same sinful nature making Him JUST as guilty as all of US and rendering Him unable to atone for sin in our place. And just remember this whole story flashed in front of my eyes as I was sitting there feeling my heart trying to stop trying to keep myself awake.

The younger of them [inappropriately] said to his father, ‘Father, give me the share of the property that falls to me.’ So he divided the estate between them. A few days later, the younger son gathered together everything [that he had] and traveled to a distant country, and there he wasted his fortune in reckless and immoral living. Now when he had spent everything, a severe famine occurred in that country, and he began to do without and be in need. So he went and forced himself on one of the citizens of that country, who sent him into his fields to feed pigs. And he said to him, ‘Your brother has come, and your father has killed the fattened calf because he has received him back safe and sound.’ But the elder brother became angry and deeply resentful and was not willing to go in; and his father came out and began pleading with him. But he said to his father, ‘Look! These many years I have served you, and I have never neglected or disobeyed your command. Yet you have never given me [so much as] a young goat, so that I might celebrate with my friends; but when this [other] son of yours arrived, who has devoured your estate with immoral women, you slaughtered that fattened calf for him!’ The father said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours. But it was fitting to celebrate and rejoice, for this brother of yours was [as good as] dead and has begun to live. He was lost and has been found.’”
Immediately I started BALLING because like the kid in the story I REALIZED SUDDENLY how low I had fallen and all of a sudden I heard God's voice, not in an angry condemning WAY but in a broken heart kind of way, saying VERY CLEARLY "I've been with you all this time, if you had just turned to ME, I couldn't have been your healer and I've WANTED to be but you wouldn't let me", I was SOOOO hurt by this and what I had done, realizing how much I had not only been hurting MYSELF, but how much I had been hurting my CREATOR who loved me enough to die in my place and take MY PENALTY on Himself which there IS NO GREATER LOVE than that. I immediately knew this was Jesus speaking to I didn't need any help understanding that I just had the knowledge that that was the person that was speaking to me. I said with years rolling down my face "Jesus I'm so sorry God, I didn't realize what I was really doing and how much harm I was causing, I think I'm about to die here because I can't stay awake any longer I HAVE to let myself go to sleep, I can't fight it any longer but I'm not going to ask you to help me because I don't deserve it and if I wake up in Hell, I DO DESERVE THAT. BUT if I SOMEHOW survive this and I'm still alive in the morning, I PROMISE I will give you EVERYTHING and I will NEVER put this crap in my body again". Immediately I heard Him say "That's all I've been waiting to hear all these years", and IMMEDIATELY ALL the effects of the drugs DISAPPEARED and I was COMPLETELY SOBER, I had been up for FOUR DAYS not eating, just shooting those drugs trying to stay high and IN AN INSTANT I went from being so high overdosing and feeling like I was going out and PROBABLY my heart was going to stop, to INSTANTLY being COMPLETELY SOBER and in my right mind feeling like I had just got a FULL night's sleep. I stayed up the rest of the night worshipping and thanking him for not only saving my life THAT NIGHT when I didn't deserve it, but Dying to pay my ETERNAL dept and all I had to do was believe and except it to receive it. I've been sober every since and my life SINCE has been more fulfilling actually KNOWING and getting to have a LOVING PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with my perfect creator EVERY DAY and He's with me in the good times and the hard times right beside me and because of that, I now HATE the sinful ways I USED TO LOVE, man sin so twists us and we don't even realize it until we go to Him and He sets us free from the slavery of it because EVEN if it's not drugs, it'll always be SOMETHING that has you bound that you can't stop doing that you KNOW isn't right. Anyway, love the channel and again so happy for your sobriety🙂.

Yea Jen! More NF! He is actually telling his negative thoughts to leave him alone. If you decide to take the NF Journey you will see in the song Outro how he struggles with the idea of getting rid of his burdens because they make him what he is. Would he be able to write music as powerful if he wasn't hurting? But you shouldn't watch Outro until you have done the previous songs on the NF Journey. I am sure someone has posted the list in order. This song is a follow up from the song The Search.

We live at a time where man are told it's OK to be soft and emotional (many people don't understand this reality, but when men do that, they turn into irresponsible children)
Women are taught to be strong and independent. (No good hard working and responsible man would be attracted to this type of woman)
Ultimately families get broken and most of us are left alone trying to heal and be strong.

Mansion is really bad. Even Nate hates it he didn’t start striding till perception ts and mansion are no his caliber now. Now Christian or not he’s considered a threat Eminem has called him out and he won’t respond. He doesn’t do click bait. Just works with the people that he gets compared to and shuts that down. And honestly I think he’s way better than Eminem now. He’s where marshal was now at the top of his game and Nate is still sitting on collabs and a full album.

Yo I've bombed you with 3 comments but you really need to go through his catalog. I think you will like it because this is what it is.. mansion from his first CD sets the entire stage.
