That's not true. They are both owned by APEX Tool Group but, that's where the similarities end. There aren't enough similarities between the tools to be able to confidently make such a claim. If you hold a Craftsman Ratchet in one hand and, a Gearwrench Ratchet in the other, you will throw the Craftsman Ratchet in your junk drawer. The quality of Craftsman isn't even close to Gearwrench. I'd buy Gearwrench tools over Craftsman tools 10 out of 10 times.
@@c.r.edmister5223 And that is NOT true either. Well the part about Gear wrench being owned by Apex is but they do NOT own Craftsman Tool. Stanley Black & Decker owns Craftsman as well as Mac Tools and several others..
I'll never understand why people fanboy Snap-On to the point of de-branding logos to stick Snap-On on it. if you love the company that much, buy their box if you can't afford their box buy a cheaper box and own that shit yes that US general is the same as the bluepoint but changing the logos is basically a "look at me I have Snap-On box" move instead of a "yeah Snap-On have one of these but I decided to go for the cheaper one because what's the point of spending more for a logo"
Haha! I’ve just retired from 45 years on heavy equipment and fork lift trucks. I think you need 3 hammers. 8oz ball pein (for very light stuff & tapping out a gasket) 4lb lump (for most stuff) and 14lb sledge. (though probably not for car mechanics!)
My wrenches are Kobalt, DeWalt, husky, Duralast, O'Reilly's power torque and Craftsman, few Proto and one snap on 1 in. I have never broke one, even the tough brand from Walmart haven't broke. In my opinion don't make snap on, Mac, matco and other massive expensive tool companies more rich Don't buy shit but also don't get fucked, just buy medium lifetime warranty brands. For 300 you can buy all the wrenches from DeWalt that you will need, stubbys and ratchet wrenches. I used a snap on 14mm non impact on my Milwaukee 1400 lbs and became popcorn, I used a 14mm Stanley non impact on my Milwaukee 1400 lbs and I keep using it lol.
Please don,t put snap on logo on a nice US General cart, But do put US General decal over the Snap on tool cart you don,t want customers to see your making way too much money to be able to afford snap off or mac or matco or cornwall tool truck jobbers stuff first mistake new guys make is thinking they need to be in debt with tool truck guys.
I think 90% of mechanics would disagree. The cart is the most common way of working on things. Put what experience tells you you use most frequently in it and, leave it. Most mechanics don't like having to walk back and forth from the job to their big tool box because they forgot to put something in their cart.
Man In The Mirror yea I just bought a cart just to hold tools while working on job while I have my hf cart with the tools stored in there and grab from it

MrSubaru1387 blue point has same box 😂 oh welll
@@Retiq Blue-Point isn't Snap-on.
MrSubaru1387 yeah I know, box doesn’t make you money
@@Retiq so you say, young gun.

Got a link for the socket extension organizer? Been trying to find one that works for my cart
Matt Vasquez they are on amazon ernst socket organizers
Gear Wrench is just rebranded Craftsman
That's not true. They are both owned by APEX Tool Group but, that's where the similarities end. There aren't enough similarities between the tools to be able to confidently make such a claim. If you hold a Craftsman Ratchet in one hand and, a Gearwrench Ratchet in the other, you will throw the Craftsman Ratchet in your junk drawer. The quality of Craftsman isn't even close to Gearwrench. I'd buy Gearwrench tools over Craftsman tools 10 out of 10 times.
umm gearwrench is more like matco, u can buy the guts for a gearwrench ratchet and put it in a matco co worker did that few times🤷🏻♂️
@@c.r.edmister5223 And that is NOT true either. Well the part about Gear wrench being owned by Apex is but they do NOT own Craftsman Tool. Stanley Black & Decker owns Craftsman as well as Mac Tools and several others..
I'll never understand why people fanboy Snap-On to the point of de-branding logos to stick Snap-On on it.
if you love the company that much, buy their box
if you can't afford their box buy a cheaper box and own that shit
yes that US general is the same as the bluepoint but changing the logos is basically a "look at me I have Snap-On box" move instead of a "yeah Snap-On have one of these but I decided to go for the cheaper one because what's the point of spending more for a logo"
That Mac stubby set is awesome! What did that cost?
BrewCityRider I got a deal I think it was about $200
Anyone ever notice how younger mechanics (and rookies) always have a ton of hammers in their toolboxes? Jk
lazzyRJ lol the yellow hammers all came as a set then got a free rubber hammer and bought two dead blows
Lol I have 1 hammer I feel proud of myself
Modified Millennials , if you can’t fix it get a bigger hammer ! Lol
In my opinion don't make snap on, Mac, matco and other massive expensive tool companies more rich
Don't buy shit but also don't get fucked, just buy medium lifetime warranty brands.
LoL!!! I was done with the 37th UMMM.. 🤦🏻♂️ no more
Spline drive
Please don,t put snap on logo on a nice US General cart, But do put US General decal over the Snap on tool cart you don,t want customers to see your making way too much money to be able to afford snap off or mac or matco or cornwall tool truck jobbers stuff first mistake new guys make is thinking they need to be in debt with tool truck guys.
Just buy a cheap servicecart. Grab what u need and do the job cart should empty between jobs
I think 90% of mechanics would disagree. The cart is the most common way of working on things. Put what experience tells you you use most frequently in it and, leave it. Most mechanics don't like having to walk back and forth from the job to their big tool box because they forgot to put something in their cart.
Man In The Mirror yea I just bought a cart just to hold tools while working on job while I have my hf cart with the tools stored in there and grab from it
I'd also probably rather have a Mustang than a Snap On box!
Enjoyed the tool cart tour but; seriously whats the problem with the tape measures? Watched so many fools do a review not one of these dudes gets out a tape measure and shows the dimensions???????
You didn't buy a snapon or matco box and instead spent the money on tools. Respect.
Those us general boxes are the shit
That thing is loaded past captivity if would become a total cluster f@#k
Idk Iv changed it a lil and maybe added some more to it since then😅
@@Retiq I ran into the same problem with that same cart and added the Husky cabinet with the top to help out
@@coexist1018 Iv already expanded about a year or so ago with the hf 56inch box to match!
Everyone will know it’s not a snap on lol you’ll just look like a broke boy
Omar Cruise snap makes like the exact same box as blue point look up on TH-cam lol
That background music could get you a strike..
Precision screwdrivers 😂😂 Did you just make that up to justify buying a $200 set on sale... BTW no such thing, use them and get your moneys worth.
Jay Tea I meant like there are nice I wanna keep them nice for like interior parts or anything that’s really obv it’ll come apart you know I’ll grab that set knowing the screw driver or soemthing isn’t beat up and might strip something
