If you go to Egans you should fish off the railings by the road (where the 2 creeks connect) fish 5-10 feet from the railings or against the bank on the other side.. out of all the times I’ve done that I’ve never had a day where I didn’t catch 10+ fish and quality as well. I suggest going at low tide
It’s been a struggle with this cold weather. I would throw a 3.5” paddle tail or Vudu shrimp on that toadfish rod and keep the live bait on the tsunami. That way you have a search lure to throw around while your live bait is soaking.

Happy new year! You should keep track of the fish you catch this year by species, how many fish total, and weights if you want to go that detailed, and do a recap at the end of the year. Maybe set a goal of combined total of 500 for the year?
If I were you I’d try my luck off the beach. Double bottom rig with some fishbites will catch you a good haul of pompano and bluefish. Throwing a big spoon can catch you some nice blues and the occasional mackeral this time of year too.
You had a video awhile back using shrimp. Someone told you to hook it through the tail instead of the horn, I felt you had better success with that. Think there might be something to that style, As always awesome video, Keep up the good work

We use the identical float stop rig in the UK 🇬🇧 for garfish which you call needlefish.
With the shrimp what we do we put a bigger hook on it and we hook the shrimp through the tail and follow it up the hook it stays on for longer
