to be COMPLETELY HONEST here, i feel like the original reason as to why people made fun of this in the first place was because of the fact that the audience started screaming because JUST coz of his eyes reveal. Im not hating or anything because the voice is pretty good and the character design of the v tuber is cool (from someone that doesnt watch v tubers a whole lot). It's just what i feel was the cause of all the making fun of the dude haha.

So coming from an unbiased perspective, I don’t watch vtubers and I prefer to look stuff up a bit before judging. The conclusion I came up with is that Dacapo doesn’t really deserve the hate he’s getting. The problem that people keep bringing up is that they believed the concert costed $300 USD and that the model is a stiff 2D model. If there are other mentions, then I may have forgotten. However, it seems that the concert actually costed 300 Baht which is a Thai currency, not USD. So converting it seems to be equivalent to $8.54 USD which I’d say is a pretty cheap concert. The second thing, I see that vtuber models cost a pretty penny. I see that 3D vtuber models costs in the thousands for USD which is very expensive. So I understand if Dacapo doesn’t have a 3D model. If Dacapo is reading this, then I hope things get better. I’m not a fan or a lurker so maybe my comment may get buried but I just wanted to let you know that I think you’re cool.
Well technically speaking, the 300 baht is actually for 3 days period event, while people can get in there for 150 baht for a day. And the whole event isn’t just about vtubers, it’s mainly about cosplaying competitions and meetings and gamings. So yea, people weren’t paying 300 baht for this concert. Many paid 150 to go to cosplay event AND meet cosplayers AND shop limited merches AND meet up in the community AND then watch the vtuber shows AND more.

So coming from an unbiased perspective, I don’t watch vtubers and I prefer to look stuff up a bit before judging. The conclusion I came up with is that Dacapo doesn’t really deserve the hate he’s getting.
The problem that people keep bringing up is that they believed the concert costed $300 USD and that the model is a stiff 2D model. If there are other mentions, then I may have forgotten.
However, it seems that the concert actually costed 300 Baht which is a Thai currency, not USD. So converting it seems to be equivalent to $8.54 USD which I’d say is a pretty cheap concert.
The second thing, I see that vtuber models cost a pretty penny. I see that 3D vtuber models costs in the thousands for USD which is very expensive. So I understand if Dacapo doesn’t have a 3D model.
If Dacapo is reading this, then I hope things get better. I’m not a fan or a lurker so maybe my comment may get buried but I just wanted to let you know that I think you’re cool.

Well technically speaking, the 300 baht is actually for 3 days period event, while people can get in there for 150 baht for a day. And the whole event isn’t just about vtubers, it’s mainly about cosplaying competitions and meetings and gamings. So yea, people weren’t paying 300 baht for this concert. Many paid 150 to go to cosplay event AND meet cosplayers AND shop limited merches AND meet up in the community AND then watch the vtuber shows AND more.
Indeed Dac's voice is good ❤, but the model is very stiff which makes the vid hilarious x)

The concert was free for anyone attending, there were other vtubers performing as well. If you want his model to have more movements then please tip him $3k-5k to get his model upgraded ❤

Just found out about this VTuber because of TikTok making fun of his fans. His voice sounds good tho, and so far, I haven't seen any hate about it, but I think it needs more appreciation.
