Thanks for these great vids hank, I just finished my Tamiya M18 and I would love to pick some of these up to go with it on its diorama base, do you care if I send you some pictures of it? I did a battle of the bulge scene with a scratch built tree!!
Something that I do when paint figures helmets is on American ww1 and ww2 helmets is I mix some tamiya seem filler and extra thin and make a little plaster and dab it onto the helmets with a short stiff bristled brush and depending on scale is how thin I make the mixture the smaller the scale the thinner I make it. American and British helmets were textured so were German helmets and I do very fine texturing with their helmets but it adds a lot to the figure you wouldn’t think it would but it does.
Really interesting approach to the face. Since this figure is showing little emotion, I think you can get away with it. If here were yelling and smiling, would you add more shadows or highlights to the face? Thanks
Thanks! Yeah I try to experiment a little with each figure I paint - more highlighting & shadow work is definitely something I'd like to cover in another video 👍
Great video mate, just one little thing, watching with headphones on, it sounds like your voice is only coming from the left, probably won't be as noticeable with speakers but is really obvious with headphones on, just sounds a little weird, is all!
Once again another great tutorial. Thanks Hank!!
Thank you for watching! Much appreciated 👍
Hank, you claim you are not that good on miniatures, but the miniatures that I have seen you paint are great!
Oh thank you so much! I appreciate it! 👍🍻
Thanks for sharing Hank - super video
Thank you very much! So glad to hear you enjoyed 👍
Nice! Thanks for posting
Thank you very much!
Can you use lacquer based primers on resin figures?

My pleasure! Thank you for watching 👍
Very good work
Thank you!!
So is super glue a better choice for resin figures as opposed to plastic cement?
What can you do if you screw up? Can you soak the face in thinner and start over?
