I agree with most of these but highly disagree with the short-sleeved one. Although I like and wear long-sleeved shirts more, a short-sleeved one gives a really nice casual and summery vibes. Often a long-sleeved one can look a bit too formal, especially if worn with pleated pants, so using the shorter sleeves to dress it down can look awesome. IMO ofc.
What do you mean by authentic in full Rick? Sure, if a celebrity/influencer that you normally see wear a completely different aesthetic, then a complete Rick Owens outfit would look very off to you. But if it is someone that you never met or seen, why does it look inauthentic? I think what looks authentic or inauthentic is mainly your own perceptions or preconceptions of that person's style.
I mean I have see some people pull off the short sleeves, I just generally think long sleeves look SO much better. And I feel that long sleeve shirts can definitely be dressed down well.
About authentic in Rick I just mean that I feel like you can look at people and see if they feel comfortable and true to themselves right away. You even see a lot of people with fades, undercuts, or middle parts that look like they would normally wear vintage carhartt all of a sudden wear head to toe rick just because they saw Carti wear it. I feel like you can normally get a sense of someones attitude/aura and if it suits whatever they're wearing. Like take me as an example. I'm heavily into Rick, right? But I know my looks and personality well enough not to go too far into the style as it just wouldn't suit me. It's all about knowing yourself well, and that takes time.
@@KoboltStudios tbh, as long as you have the confidence and the outfit is well thought out, I think everyone exudes that kind of aura imo. Especially if you are on the skinnier/athletic side. I only feel like the aura is off because there is something else off.
And yes, another hot take video would be fun. Reviewing influencer outfits or your own older fits would be nice too.

I have never seen you before but i like the way you think and present yourself. The problem with bad bunny i also have with lewis hamilton lmao.
And the bucket hat thingy, finding one that complimenting is hard.
I had a 2015 fostex bucket i wore so much it was destroyed i ordered 3 more of them but they apparently changed the design so i had to take my old one apart and copy the pattern so i could make my own.
Still doesnt hit the same unfortunately.

Nah, short-sleeve shirts are valid. It's shorts as pants that are truly the enemy. Long pants will always, always look better!

I disagree with your point on size, what is unobtainable is not being skinny but being tall. Height cannot be changed but your weight can be (even in unhealthy ways). I don't think clothes fit skinny models better it's just that they are made to fit them. A tall plus size model still has an unobtainable allure as they differ from the average population. And when clothes are made to fit them they appear just as stylish as skinny models. That is my opinion. But for the rest I found this a very insightful video.
Yeah agreed, plus we're just so conditioned socially to see skinny as better/normal in fashion. Also don't really get the argument that being skinny is something of an achievement? I wouldn't say it's any more so than being fat or muscular. And like you said, any body type could look sick as long as the fit is correct. That's why I have more respect for inclusive brands who actually challenge the mainstream notion and design for various body types. It's more humanistic and just overall radical IMO. Exalting one body type over all others is conservative/backward.
