I picked this as my wedding song almost three years ago, to dance with the man I married. It still brings goosebumps to my body, and tears of happiness to my eyes. My husband and I could not afford a lot at the time and were on our own for our wedding. This song, is what made our wedding day so beautiful. It is what made us connect, and be joyful. What a powerful song to say you promise to be together forever. Thank you so much for that.

He truly is a national treasure this bloke. As great a song as this one is, let's not forget how many other wonderful songs he has shared with us since the late 90s. I am so proud he is Australian. I am grateful to be part of a generation that has been able to hear, live, experience and enjoy his songwriting and music....

Hi guys, heard the song ocean for the first time (max sess.) about 2+ years ago. was bringing my 12 string back to life after a few years and typed in 12 string guitar on youtube. the ocean vid came up and my life was changed. thank you jtb. Jason Phipps I didn't give a "thumbs down" because you are entitled to your opinion. However, this is no where close to cheesy. Cheesy is: Mr. Big - To Be With You. This has raw emotion and the track is timeless and can be played over many, many generations. There's few songs an artist can sing that can do that. Great bands come and go, but it's the way they breath life into a song, and have you not only singing, but picturing the ride or the love. This does both. I'm going to give you a B+ because you went from cheesy to beautiful in the very next sentence. Sorry you lost points as a cheese grader. Hope your marriage is just as strong today as it was when you commented. Tonight, you play this for your wife and dance again.
