Have you thought about getting a dehumidifier for your house? It would really help to remove any moisture in your home. You can buy portable sizes that would fit in your space. Painting looks great! I bought the bee case from Wild too! 😊 I’m just glad I got one before they sold out! Thank you for the recommendation!
I learned a new gardening trick this year that makes potting a little easier. As you are filling the new pot with soil, put the plant in its smaller pot inside the bigger one and fill dirt around it. Then, carefully pull out the smaller pot once you’ve reached the desired height, and you should have a nice easy hole to put your plant into. Then just add a bit of dirt around and on top to fully plant the start into its new pot!
Quick advice for your soup: nutritional yeast has some vitamine b12, but heat is destroying it. So it is actually better to put it in last or even when the soup is already on the plate :)
Gardening tips. Just do it ... which you are! Take notes ... even a quick, informal jot will help for future reference. This is our 19th year of gardening (I think? My youngest got us started when he was 8 and now he's almost 27, so that sounds right.) we learned a lot through trial and error. We learned the most by asking long-time locals. We each (me and my adult children) have the same go-to gardening book and prefer that over the 500 billion options that show up when you Google something, so I suggest finding a gardening book that's appropriate for your area. We use The Vegetable Gardener's Bible by Edward C. Smith, and also anything from Eliot Coleman. When I was in the area I found myself wondering how gardening would be there because my climate is quite different. We get really hot and humid.
Good evening Molly, thanks so much for such an interesting vlog. We'll done on your painting & potting on, both looked amazing. Your soup looks delicious, so I'm definitely going to try the recipe. Take care & bye for now xx
Loved your vlog Molly! So many interesting adventures you have had! Thanks for sharing them. Your painting and gardening looked good. 😊Have a great week. ❤Sue
Hello ☺. No, don't eat the ugly, or even none ugly skins of any veg unless you can afford organic. You would not believe what they are sprayed with most of the time! And make sure that it's all washed, even if it's been plastic wrapped. Sending love & ,light 🥕🥔🍄 xx
I put my leftover seed packets in a ziplock bag and into the freezer. You can soak the seeds in a little water before you plant them. It helps them sprout.
Love 🥰 this productive weekend vlog Molly and thanks 👍 for sharing it. Love 💗 Molly and it's been a good weekend due to the warm sunshine. Have a lovely week ahead.
I pureed my veg soup too. However to keep more nutrients, I don't scrape off the skins. You can use all your ugly old veg scrapings from previous meals and put into the soup. It's pureed so you don't see the ugly bits and it is better for you and environment. Particularly if you don't compost your veg scraps!
Hi Molly, I'm not keen on painting neither lol. Lovely to see you on your trip to Inverness (I lived near there as a youngster). Hope you had a lovely time seeing your friend. You're soup looked delicious! Best wishes.😊
What a lovely video Molly, great to see what you've been up to. I really need to start using some time at the weekend to do the things I would like to do instead of catching up on chores! Great motivation, thank you ❤
You did a great job with the painting! It must have been the weekend for painting as I upcycled some furniture & the only tip I can give is don’t paint your nails first as I now have grey splotches all over my pink nails! Love bakewell tart from nakd, have you tried the blueberry muffin ones? Your sunflower seedlings look very healthy, I made the same mistake one year too & ended up with 20 sunflowers that towered over me. Thank you for a lovely reset video before a hectic week!
We were in the area last week (we live in SW Missouri), and I was really amazed of the selection at the Co-op Foods in Kingussie. Lots of produce, vegan items, gluten-free items, etc. We do not have options like that here in smaller towns. We actually do have a big Walmart (ASDA) in our ~10,000 person town, but even that has very limited options for organic items. We have a local health food store, but her prices are outrageous. I usually shop at the city an hour away because Walmart's produce is really not good, and they only have a few organic things. The Aldi in Aviemore (well, every Aldi we went to) ... WOW!!!! All the produce options blew my mind. Even in our biggest cities, our Aldis have the same basic selection of produce. Definitely no red lentils. (I could mention a lot of other things, too.) Your Aldis also have a lot of non-food items. We have a half aisle of paper products and kitchen things like trash bags, tin foil, etc, bathroom things, and medicines, and then another aisle of random non-food items. Our Aldi aisles are not as long, and our stores in general are not as big. Anyway... that came to my mind when you mentioned having to go to Inverness for a few things that your local stores do not carry. I totally understand about needing to go to a bigger city for shopping, but I was not expecting the selection at a small town store in Kingussie!! Cheers. ❤
Your painting looked great Molly! Our house is desperately in need of some tlc so you might just have inspired me to get on with it! Soup looked lovely too, and loving the gardening, I really need to get round to some myself. Hope the veggies grow well 😊 xx
Love nutritional yeast! Have you tried it with roast butternut squash blended up to make a vegan mac&cheese sauce? It's really tasty as a comfort food. ❤ Great video with so many different activities!
Please think about whether to buy from the Body Shop. They treated their workers appallingly when there were many redundancies recently. They are now owned by a global private equity group. Far removed from Anita Roddick's vision
Enjoyed your latest vlog as ever...if you get repeated problems with mould maybe you could try an anti mould and fungus bathroom paint to guard against this as the spores can affect some people ( aunty Hannah advise!).... probably won't want to tackle the space for a while though !!! 🤣😍

Can you recommend one book which I must read my 22🤗 dear
I love Wild but it leaves white stains on my dark shirts. Do you have the same problem?
No I haven't noticed that actually, but I suppose I don't wear that many dark colours!
@@hippyhighlandliving I see, thank you for the response 😊
Hi. Where do you get the nutritional yeast from pls?
I just get mine from Tesco but most health food shops tend to do it as well :)
❤
Is that bodyshop moustrzr vegan?
Yes, all body shop products are now vegan and cruelty free :)
