I personally found the social quests entertaining. They're really well made, not forcing combat as the only sane solution. I'm impressed how well they made it so you can just try solutions, and the first thing you think of just works.
I like that angle of thought. I wish I felt it more, I suppose my frustration was that I felt it locked me down for a while. Mostly because it is just effective to knock everything out in close proximity before wandering too far. Still I respect the view!
Yeah it could be a lot better. I think it's odd how Capcom pushes MTX into a lot of games. This game is close to being amazing but not quite there. I'm a sucker for a fantasy adventure but there are some important aspects missing. I think more enemy variety and harder modes would help a little. Let's just hope DLC like DD1 got will be in the future.

Great review! Between gameplay, mtx, and performance i think it isnt a very good PC release.
