Yeah, but you considerably lower your Signal-to-Noise Ratio as a result. Packets get forcefully sent/received, resulting in a better ping… but at the expense of error correction. Double-edged sword. (You acted surprised during your game when your E didn’t hit the Camille, or when the plant didn’t push you as far as you told the game to do. Could that be related to bad SNR?)
I think the strat could work. but like you said you should build frozen heart first or maybe the mr sunfire (i forgot the name). I feel like that would give you the power to survive easier then you can rush the support items with a lead. And then late game you could always sell the support items once you're full build.
@@DitiPeng Nah wait, he just missed the E Camille because of the river height difference, and the plant didn't push him far because he was standing too close to the center. Those aren't errors.
the premise is not very good, chashback is percetual, ideally you'd stack the costliest items possible, not the other way around, because you have a max of 6 slots. this rune is OP on ap stackers and adcs imo
Ideally you'd be stacking snowball items on a scaling champ (The Collector, Stormsurge, Mejai's Soulstealer, Ravenous Hydra, Hubris) Or buying multiple infinite scaling items to help the growth go faster.
The way cashback works, it's 6% of the cost of the item. So it doesn't really matter whether you've bought 4 cheap items or 3 expensive ones. Either way, the rune basically scales with the amount of gold you've spent. Now technically, if you run a cheap build, once you get to the point where you're at 6 items, sold your boots, bought an elixir, and are still floating gold, then yes you're not getting full potential value from the rune. But most games end way before then, especially at higher elos. My point is, the best way to abuse the cash back rune, is to just take the cash back rune. You don't need to adjust your build.
Locket was such a great lategame item pre season 10 when the shield still scaled with bonus health. Btw you can see the amount of cash back when looking at the runes bottom left corner.
The idea of buying support items on sion top kinda seems mediocre, these are the reasons I think so: -Sion have lots of hp through passive, and he is balanced around that items with hp scaling exist like: titanic, sunfire, the new hp-ad% item -You are supposed to be side line, and his wave clear with support items sucked, while your team was solo winning fights you barely could push fast enough for towers or roams -When you reach late-game, you will have lots of unnecessary gold with low value items There are some positives tho: -Sion gets kited a lot in teamfights, so having some solari with resists that complements his hp and a shield to be useful can be neat, but in this video example it was barely used that way, most was splitpush -A bit faster "spikes" but these spikes are kinda weak tho Anyway, neat idea to have fun and make a video of, but doesnt look great for anyone wondering if it's actually good
This rune works very well on Karthus First Strike gold-printer :D Basically almost anything you do gains you gold, especially if you also go with the triple tonic and Aproach velocity build you can actually kite people pretty easily after lvl 9 putting extra skill in W . Becomes a powerhouse on Rabadons item
I've been running the cashback with the rune that gives adaptive force and haste for each unique stat on your item, those two together, on Rakan. Its felt really good, I get a lot of stats from support items that have tons of unique stats, and I have all my items really really fast. I love it.
Love your content as always, what are your thoughts on the jack of all trades rune? I recently started to discover a lot of champions can easily reach the 10 stacks by 3 items and the 25 adaptive +10 ability haste feels really nice. possible abuse with this strat since its easy to get a wide array of stats from support items ?
@@Tilterella no its on the bottom row of inspiration runes (right side). PASSIVE: Earn 1 Jack stack for each unique stat type gained from items, stacking indefinitely. I think the free stats are really slept on for the rune, supports have access to a lot of mixed stat items so its probably even easier to stack with support items. As kindred I managed to get 10 stacks from Kraken/icebound/wits end + boots, I'm sure there are much better build paths to get to the final spike a bit quicker though. It depends. Sometimes your ISP's default routing can be hot garbage and take a longer path than necessary. If that's the case and GearUp's relay uses a shorter path then it can reduce the ping.
This build might highkey be really good on your double jungle strat, its gonna make the amount of money you steal SO much more valuable as you just snowball items faster. Especially if you have a carry type jungler...
@@sciguystfm I don't know but I mean... by minute 18 he had only procced it twice. Can he not get more value out of other runes? I don't doubt that the rune is very powerful on Sion, just not the way he uses it...

i think you can use this rune like this: buying these cheap sup items early game so that youre scaling harder then your enemies bcs they arent gaining as much gold as you, and then you can sell those items one by one when ure full build to buy those expensive and more usefull items later with the money you cant really spend cause ur full build. im not a sion main or anything so idk if this work on sion but im kinda sure this strategy would work on at least some champs. and i think sion is one of them.
I tried that gear up thing, it absolutely killed my fps and my pc in general, i had to restart my pc and i got disconnected from my game with a penalty, would not recommend. 0/5
So, IMO while this rune is perfect for my Rakan support play style. I feel like this Rune is for a big buy early on. Maybe second Item, but I really like it as a first item big item buy. For ADC example, I.E. first item 3400 gold. Which, if my math isn't shitty is 204 gold back and a good jump start on a second item that's cheaper and was a core build path for adcs early on last season like a Phantom Dancer or Navori Flickerblade. That's just 100 shy of a dagger (300g) and a quick boost in power. Now, If you're a gold farming champ (or just good at getting CS) then over all this rune will fall off very early on. Twisted Fate / Draven / Pyke all of these champs are designed to get gold spikes earlier on to snowball. This rune is amazing for that and will absolutely get those champs ahead sooner and allow them to run the game. But if they don't end the game before any late game scaling champs scale... then the rune will harm them over all, as they could have taken a better rune to give them more power to win before the late game scaling champ becomes a monster.
rather than sion with support item i think it's more beneficial for top lane twisted fate with cashback rune especially since tf generates more gold from his passive
