Great looking rig. Those Chevrolet squarebody trucks hard in high demand and bring really good money. Love the originality and mint condition of that truck for its age, The camper is beautiful as well. Hopefully the new owner will preserve it.
Wow! That whole setup is just phenomenal! My biggest fear letting that go would be having it end up with some idiot that paints everything inside the camper white and ruins all the great 70s charm. Never been a big fan of air bags though. Makes the ride too squishy for me to be comfortable and it just creates more potential for something to fail.
I have 3 of those plastic ac covers but i would just put a Vintage AC system on it everything is all new and all that mess in the engine compartment goes behind the dash and is desighned for the new R134 Refrigerant . the fan speed is infinate too not just 4 speeds
It’s too bad it doesn’t have the original engine, however I know why they did it the 6.2 diesel was the biggest piece of shit that Chevy ever made except for the crap they make now.
Those Trucks are prone to crack frames in various areas of the frame.....watch Stacey Davids "stunt double" With a full size camper I would only use a Ford Truck of the era
Drove chevy square body's for years had my first one for 20 years never had a problem but the few people I know that had ford's always had a problem chevy is way better

Those holes in the bed are factory and are attached to a shock absorber thing as per the Camper Special package

Just curious as of July 2023 is this still available what a crazy nice find!
Nice truck and camper but I’d take the tire off the front and mount it under the bed it’s blocking air flow that the radiator needs to be

Wasn't it a 5.7?
No in 1982 they introduced the 6.2 but you are right before that it was a 5.7 made by Oldsmobile.
