Hi, Great video. I just wanted to clarify that the minimum pay is under the specific award. The VECTEA and EEEA are agreements that pay above, they aren’t the standard, sadly. However many services say that they are similar to VECTEA but that doesn’t mean that they are actually paying people under that agreement, it’s really important to understand the distinction and push for the better agreements. Sessional Kindergartens usually pay under either of the two agreements while Privately owned services are often working under the award (which is the minimum). The EEEA and the VECTEA agreements are great for teachers however the pay is often lower than some other agreements (such as council based services that may have their own agreements).
This is a very demanding role, its very different from teaching in Asian countries. Not everyone can survive in such roles. "Its not everybody's cup of tea" . Its quite challenging and not for the weak of heart. I appreciate your honest review for others
+ its a social service sort of role, teaching children emotions, social behaviours, toilet training etc along with teaching them. Due to inclusive education system, you will be dealing with special needs children that the more draining part. You need to have guts to do this. its very challenging. Just to spread awareness for people who are interested in this course abroad as many people think its just teaching abc 123 to children like asian countries.

Hi your channel is so informative. I have a question. I am currently an Assistant Language Teacher in Japan. For context, I am not a teacher by profession but I have been teaching English as a second language since 2012. And became an ALT since 2022. Will I still be able to find a teaching position with the qualifications I have? Thank you very much.
I want to change my current course at Monash to Master of Early Childhood Education. I am trying to get it at Monash, but I have a concern, do most of the schools not hire workers with master's degree? I have seen some job descriptions and either they want diploma or bachelor. Please share your thoughts on this.
You having a masters degree isn’t going to a be a problem for finding jobs. Normally people with a bachelor or masters degree would apply for a teacher or room leader role. Whereas, diploma, cert 3 can be educators. However, at the end of the day it all depends on your experience and qualifications.
I have completed my bachelor of arts from india i want to apply for teaching should i go for graduate certificate or masters of teaching please suggest
What is the eligibility criteria for masters of education, can Someone who has done masters in sciences without any teaching experience eligible for doing masters in education according to the new visa rules?
I am from India and I did a masters in chemistry so how can I apply for a teaching field in Australia? because I don't have experience in the teaching field
@62Parneet if you do want to get into the teaching sector then yes, a bachelor degree would be beneficial. You still would need to think about which age group you want to teach though. ECE is restricted to 0- 5 year olds.
Not really.. there’s a huge demand for educators and teachers at the moment. Depends on what roles you’re applying for and how much experience you’ve got too.
