      Your profile looks really solid-great academic record, strong financial backing, and your PTE score is decent too. Visa processing can sometimes feel like a bit of a waiting game, but since you applied on the 3rd of July, you’re likely to hear back around late August or early September. It could be sooner, but sometimes it takes a bit longer depending on how busy they are and the backlog. I know the wait can be nerve-wracking, but hang in there! All the best with your visa and your exciting journey ahead at Deakin. You’ve got this! 💪🏻

    Hey, I'm from India and have been living in Qatar for the past seven years. We're thinking about moving to Australia, and I've been watching a lot of videos on TH-cam to try to figure out if it's a good decision. I'd really appreciate it if you could give us some guidance on this. Thanks for your videos!

    • @priyanka_saluja

      Hi there, thank you for watching my videos and reaching out! So, I came to Australia as a student, my experience is rooted in studying here and then transitioning into a job that helped me settle down. From what I’ve seen, studying in Australia can be a great pathway to long-term residency, as it not only provides you with local qualifications but also connects you with industry networks that can be crucial for finding a job. This worked for me.
      If you’re considering moving to Australia, it’s important to weigh all your options. One approach could be to pursue a course or qualification that’s currently in demand here. This not only increases your chances of securing a job but also aligns you with the skills the Australian market needs. Alternatively, if you’re already in a profession that’s critically required in Australia, that could also be a strong pathway.
      Researching which occupations are in high demand and whether you can leverage your current skills or upgrade them through further study could be key to making a smooth transition. I hope this helps!

      Hey, thanks for your question! An MBA in Australia can be a great choice, especially if you're aiming for career growth in management roles. The job market is strong, particularly in cities like Sydney and Melbourne. Specializations like Finance, Data Analytics, and Marketing are in high demand here. If you align your MBA with the skills in demand, you'll have good job opportunities.

    taking admission in a well recognised college for my bachelor's degree would be good, or should i go for a university... what would be better? can we pay the fees of the uni & also pay for our expenses while working part-time? because my family can't afford the tuition fees of the 3 year long bachelor's degree...

    • @varmaa007
      @varmaa007 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      also... would you suggest me to do my bachelor's degree for 4 years here in India itself and go to AUS for my master's degree?

    • @priyanka_saluja
      @priyanka_saluja  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi, great question and thanks for reaching out again!
      Deciding between a well-recognized college and a university for your bachelor’s degree is an important choice, and I think both options have their pros and cons.
      Universities generally offer more comprehensive programs, more research opportunities, and often have stronger industry connections, which can be beneficial for your career. On the other hand, colleges might be more affordable, have smaller class sizes, and provide a more personalized learning experience. If the college is well-recognized and offers a strong program in your field, it could be a great option, especially if budget is a concern.
      Regarding finances, it’s true that tuition fees for a 3-4 year bachelor’s degree can be quite high, especially at a university. Working part-time while studying is common among international students, and Australia allows you to work up to 48 hours per fortnight during the semester and unlimited hours during breaks. While working part-time can help cover living expenses and some of your tuition, it might be challenging to pay the full tuition fees on a part-time job alone. I paid some of it during my studies and paid the rest within a year of working full-time. You might need to explore scholarships, financial aid, or even consider starting at a college and then transferring to a university later.
      It’s important to create a realistic budget and consider all costs, including living expenses, when making your decision. If your family can’t afford the full tuition, looking into alternative funding options like scholarships which i think you only get when you pursue masters? Not sure on this one, an education counsellor would help with this.
      I hope this helps.

    • @priyanka_saluja
      @priyanka_saluja  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      See doing your bachelor’s degree in India and then going to Australia for your master’s degree can be a smart approach, especially if you’re concerned about the cost of studying abroad. Completing your bachelor’s degree in India could save you a significant amount of money, allowing you to build a strong foundation in your field without the high tuition fees and living expenses associated with studying abroad.
      Additionally, pursuing your master’s degree in Australia can still give you the international exposure, advanced education, and career opportunities that you’re aiming for. Master’s programs are typically shorter (1-2 years), which means lower overall costs compared to a full 3-4 year bachelor’s program. Plus, a master’s degree from Australia, combined with a recognized bachelor’s degree from India, can make you highly competitive in the job market both in Australia and internationally.
      Another advantage is that by the time you go for your master’s, you might have more clarity about your career goals and can choose a specialized field that aligns with your interests and the job market. You can also explore work experience or internships during or after your bachelor’s, which can strengthen your application for a master’s program and even lead to scholarships. You can even try and save up some money while working after your bachelors. This is what I did.
      Ultimately, it depends on your financial situation, career goals, and how soon you want to experience living and studying abroad. If finances are a concern, this could be a very practical and strategic route to take.
      I hope this gives you some clarity.
