@@reeseprince8its a good bike, the tank holds fuel well. Have recently had someone rear end me at lights and its a pretty sturdy build so no damage other then the licence plate. I've done so much research because it absolutely my style of bike. So many good reviews and lots of people rate this bike. Think this will be what I end up getting!
Keyway appear to have taken a significant step in quality with this one. At the bike show, the models on show had the usual budget-driven fittings such as thin, flimsy brake and gear levers for example. I forget which model it was but one of their "cruisers" had a ridiculous 12" long gear lever instead of a more appropriately designed linkage for the forward controls. This RKV125 looks much better in every way. Apart from the exhaust system of course which will turn orange within a week and be cornflakes within a year. I'll bet it's excluded from the warranty too. A real shame. Excellent review fellas, as usual. Thank you 👌
How long have you both had that bike I'm assuming it's very similar to the keeway. I'm busy trying to decide what to gwt for my first bike and I can't make my mind up.
Well done ! Sounds good, looks good and the saddle stitching is impressive. Grandfather John Pennsylvania USA
Keeway is trying to settle itself as a premium brand from now on, like if it was a sort of "chinese honda". This model was just the start of all of it. There's also the V-CRUISE 125, the V-CRUISE 302C (300cc engine), the M502N (500cc engine), and few more coming out soon, like the Keeway: Benda Darkflag 500cc, MBP C650V, Keeway Benda LFC + LFS 700cc, MBP C1002V... And their price tags come close to a premium japanese motorcycle brand as its CCs go up.
Nice looking bike. I would have been more than happy to start my biking on one of these (rather than the MZ125 that I did start on, way back in the mists of time). And it is a stylish commuter option.
You're the same height and a kinda similar bodytype to me so it's like a little advanced view of what I'd look like on this haha. Great video, thanks for putting it up.

Great vid👍 This is the bike for me I’ll be taking the CBT in a few months so is the keeway v cruise 125 and rkv 125 the same bike? Or should I wait and see how the v cruise 125 is?
same doubt here, the outlaw I like the price, the power and the abs, the rkv doesn't have abs and doesn't seem to reach much speed, on the other hand it seems more comfortable for tall people like me.
I'm pretty sure the Outlaw doesn't have ABS either. The RKV has more horses, but the Outlaw is quicker being much lighter. But yeah, big difference in price
Thanks. I'm thinking about getting a bike but I don't think many would suit me as I'm 5'' 4', don't have the full licence (only upto a 125cc) & never ridden a bike. Thanks again, you have made me think about it...again. Oh, it wont keep up with my S5, but I'm sure the thrills will be similar.
Don't let your height stop you from riding. I am 5' 6" and have ridden for over 30 years. Cruisers have low seat heights, which are ideal for those of us with less than 33"+ inside legs!
If you haven’t test driven one then you don’t really know what you are talking about. 5ft 4 is typical average height in China so I bet this bike would be perfect for you. Go for it buddy!

In general the average height of people has increased by 2inches over the last 40/50 year's but they still keep making motorbikes for average heights of 5ft 7in which to be honest is short theses days, when you see teenagers that could challenge a giraffe. It really is about time manufacturers gave more options for tall riders.
I have been interested in the bike for a while but I haven't been able to find any videos in English until now so your review is much appreciated. If you don't mind can I ask if you went up any hills how did it pull and how much momentum did you loose if any. Thanks again
Hi, The Keeway is too early to tell, but it seems to have a better engine and all the good design points of the Highway star, I would say it is a better bike.
I am about to buy the black tank version of this bike but want to turn it into an old school bobber Would a new solo bobber seat be hard to put on do you think?
Early on in the video, there's a full on rear view and the number plate bracket is clearly well on the p*ss. What worries me still with Chinese bikes is, that should not pass final inspection for
I've been contemplating getting one as my friend has one, but he said he can only get his up to 55mph at a push going downhill down the A5, he's not big but about 20 stone, so whether the weight is slowing him down or not I'm unsure, but watching your vid it also looks like you're struggling to hit top end also so would it be worth it for a weekend ride around bike you think?
A cool little bike. Are bigger HP bikes heavily taxed in the UK? Is this why 125s are just about everywhere or specially for A2 licenses? The front LED light is a knockoff of Zontes GK350 version.
We also have a thing called a CBT (compulsory basic training) in the UK. It's a one day course you have to take before you can ride a motorcycle up to 125cc. It's valid for 3 years so a lot of people will just do this and gain a bit of experience riding before taking the tests for their full licence
Whatever this costs, if that's how much you have to spend, buy the best used non-Chinese bike you can get. I bought a Hanway 125cc a few years back... new, it was beautiful... like all Chinese products, it's 95% good and completely let down buy the 5% shit. Constant electrical problems, ignition, fuel pump, rust... shame as it rode well, looked awesome...
Same here NK 125, cheap as chips looked great and then got the MiL light winking at me at 650 mls it was a ECT sensor, then at 1300 mls got another MIL light, this time it was the O2 sensors turn to give up the ghost, got live data on it and it was deader than Elvis, once these were fixed it rode ok’ish but sometimes struggled to engage 1st gear at a standstill. It got nicked at 1600 mls, the scrote that pinched it found out the brakes weren’t that good riding two up and stuffed it into the back of a Caddy van. I’m just debating whether to buy a CBR125R or a XSR125, like you I wished I’d bought Japanese from the get go !
If you maintain and clean the bike, properly, rust won't be a problem. My daughter's friend has just sold here Superlight, 6 years old, ridden in all weather, kept outside on the coast, only very minimal signs of corrosion. Likewise, my daughter's Superlight is 4 years old, ridden in all weathers, stored outside under a cover by the coast, had from new still looks almost like new. The key maintenance and cleaning, and acf-50, or similar.
@Pj Mack Nonsense, I've had chinese bikes for years, upto and including 650cc, none have ever let me down, and none have suffered corrosion issues more than my Triump America does.. The VanVan is no more easy or difficult to maintain than pretty much any other basic 125 from any other manufacturer.

A cool little bike. Are bigger HP bikes heavily taxed in the UK? Is this why 125s are just about everywhere or specially for A2 licenses? The front LED light is a knockoff of Zontes GK350 version.
Tax isn't terrible. 125 is 17 year old to A2 licence at 19 bike.
They sell the most. Biggest selling bikes in UK are 125 and scooters
We also have a thing called a CBT (compulsory basic training) in the UK. It's a one day course you have to take before you can ride a motorcycle up to 125cc. It's valid for 3 years so a lot of people will just do this and gain a bit of experience riding before taking the tests for their full licence
@@Woddawic isn't it two years? Not sure. Was a while ago I did mine!
You're right, it's two years. My mistake
Looks like a nice bike. I’m 6’2”, do you think it will be a bit small for me considering the low seat height? Thanks.
Only 3 inches taller than me. Get someone to photograph you sitting on one.
Love to see how many buy a bike with benda wrote on it.🤭
The plastic on that reflector makes it look like a lollipop.
They could still do a stainless exhaust in black!
Back of the headlight is a bit strange! I would rather a traditional casing
What happened to the mirror?
That exhaust will be a Rust magnet.
Box was in perfect condition so maybe happened en-route, or whilst packaged, everything else was fine.
Would this be suitable for someone who’s 6ft 2”??
Top speed?
I'm thinking of getting this will be fine for me I'm 6ft 3 inches tall
Can't see why not. Take a seat on one.
A estas motos no se le pueden poner unos escapes más ruidosos o es aún muy pronto porque son nuevas
benda? Imagine finding that stamped on your mates new bike back in the 80s
Yes, it's progressive in 2023 lol Why do you think the Honda TransAlp sells so well?
Is it the same as the hyosung Aquila
How does this compare to the k light?
Where did you get your helmet?
Similar headlamp etc to my new um renegade vegas
any tips on bikes that are 125cc cruiser style but dont sound like a glorified hair dryer (high pitch wine) and sounds like a harley or indian?
Hyosung GV125
Nice ride. Nice price..
Thinking about this for my first bike, I'm a bit concerned about rust though. Any recommendations?
Brand new Road legal thumpstar 125 £1600- £1800. Or the Benelli TNT 125 £2300
ACF50
@@tonysmih4796 What did you get for the Superlights when you sold them? I am looking at one around the same age.
What's the best bike you have ever reviewed??
Hmmm, difficult....probably MV Agusta DragsterRR
@@motorsforthemasses Ah, but what's the best 125 you have reviewed?
Pasar Indonesia, mungkin banyak yang nyicil bila harga di kisaran 20 jutaan, Honda , Yamaha, Zusuki pasti lewat dan merusak pasar motor Indonesia👍😎😎
I'm still taking the baffles
Wats top speed on the flat
