It's just another form of resynthesis, we been doing this for a long while now.. The Technos Acxel Resynthesizer is a rare synthesiser from the late 1980s. The Acxel was particularly notable for its re-synthesis capabilities. Instead of just synthesising sounds, it could analyse existing sounds and recreate them, which was groundbreaking for its time. It's unique Matrix of Touch-Sensitive LEDs was its most striking distinctive feature. The Acxel had a graphic tablet known as the "Grapher" with a matrix of 32x32 touch-sensitive LED cells (1024 in total). Users could manipulate these cells to draw waveforms, envelopes, and other sonic parameters. The Acxel system consisted of multiple parts, including the Grapher and the main synthesiser module. The Acxel used a 3.5-inch floppy disk drive for data storage. Only a few dozen units of the Acxel were ever produced, making it one of the rarest synthesisers.
The first Synplant was pretty cool because it created some pretty inserting sounds. Going to have to try this demo because I really like the idea of the creating patches from samples, just will need to see if I feel it's worth that price.
That is the part that made sense to me. I don't own a sample no matter how much I dress it up or try to hide it lol. I do however own a bunch of patches. $149 is way less than thinking about paying to clear samples over and over again. The patches are mine, game changed.
@@dffgffffffdddddddddd yes and no. Some plugins add to your workflow speed and help inspire you more. I use Ableton and I love it. I’ve use every daw but Pro Tools. Most plugins inside the daw can handle most things needed. However, some plugins do it better!
@@dffgffffffdddddddddd I’ve used this SynPlant 2 for two weeks now and I think it’s a plugin that you might use for a bit and then regret that you spent $150 when they drop the price on Black Friday. I have a ton of plugins for synths and I rarely use them. It’s not a bad plugin at all. It’s just more of a novelty type plugin. Make some cool sounds and then after a while it’s just the same old thing. At the right price I would say it’s a no brainer.
Nah, it's expensive junk. I have Dune 3 and that has Genetics which is awesome for taking a sound and creating another easily playable sound with just one click of a button.

I saw a demo video of Acxel a while back. That thing was ahead of its time

My pleasure!!

this is why i love free trials
“It’s not a sample anymore, it’s a patch”… That part!

Not liking the sounds, the synthesis isn’t good enough yet. It needs wavetables to work as intended. They’re on the right track though

Ehhhhhh
lol
Izotope Iris 2
