I swear - things like smearing, dry under eyes, skin that doesn’t want to hold onto makeup, just start to happen out of nowhere. Dr Dray says there's research out there that suggests actual makeup itself helps block out certain UV rays, or at least minimizes them, so if you're doing a full eye look and wearing UV blocking sunnies, it's definitely better than nothing!
I'm guessing it's the iron oxides in them?

So much fun watching, reminds me of my 20's and 30's when all the girls would get ready at my place before we went out.
It's interesting to see the difference between the long time TH-camr and the newbie. As a beginner youtuber Gabi has some nervous habits of playing with her hair and rubbing her nose ear eyes as well as looking at the camera heaps whereas Alex rarely does. Reminds me of starting public speaking and learning to not to fidget and say ummmm.

I'm in the middle of your video and you're talking about eye Shadow primers, and I didn't want to forget, so I wanted to suggest that Gerard Cosmetics has the best eyeshadow primer. They even have deals once in awhile too so makes it even a better buy. You don't need a lot. You just take a little from the lid with a brush, and put it on your lid, and then blend it out with the little sponge. Works like a charm. I have extremely red lids, and it cancels it all out.❤❤

The smeary undereyes was all the sudden for me as well. I started “sealing” my mascara with a brow gel to stop it. It was even a waterproof mascara

My loreal lash paradise (non waterproof) worked well for 1 yr. Then it started to dry out. Around the same time it also started to smear, so I was left thinking that the smearing was in part due to the product drying up and causing a change in the chemical composition or something like that.
I rarely wear mascara at all, but if I do, it smears after ±1 hour. I powder my lower eyelid so it's not greasy, but it doesn't help.

I’m so incredibly jealous of you two (in a good way). The way you talk, laugh, discuss about makeup 💄 is everything. I do not have one friend who loves makeup 💄. Non of my friends use foundation, only have 1
(!!!!!!!) eyeshadow (quad) and have one mascara which they only use in the weekends🥳. They don’t use lipstick only Labello or Lipsmackers and that’s it. They get a heart attack when they see my makeup 💄 stash and when I tell them I bought a new lipstick, bronzer or whatever they literally roll their eyes 👀. You're very relateable and explain well with great tips!
The only thing I personally didn't like on this video was personal choice so not even really a criticism because I think some things look different in real like & I have liked what I've seen of Gabby's so & think she's fun to watch was the heavy blush in that shade to start that to me looked to much and more like rosacea than complimentary and then it kept getting built up and up and up. I didn't personally find that complimented her stunning face and complexion but not sure if it was just how it translated on my phone screen... regardless I still learn from her & think she's great and enjoy watching her techniques...
I have brown eyes and have heard you talk about purples a few time. I am not a big purple fan however some shades really suit me and it really suits my eyes as do peaches and browns so I am really excited to see you do some purple and lilac eyeshadow tutorials also pinks soft shimmery pinks I would love to see... and really enjoyed your video doing your friends make-up showing highlighting contouring and enhancing feature on different shaped faces with different skin shades and tones...
Love watching your videos and under eye content... I have no darkness and only a couple of natural creases at 48 that are only visible if I put concealer up to my lash line or powder so even though my under eyes are different to yours I still learn so much and now save a fortune on concealer because I realise I don't need it at all you've given me more inspiration to try different things like that and just think outside the box more do what works for me rather than use concealer like on insta and tic tok because everyone else makes you feel its necessary...keep up the great work... your channel is one of my favourite ways to relax!

Hi Kennadee! I live in the heart of Dallas and have several friends from church who are doctors here in the center city. Im Presbyterian, not LDS, but we have a pretty rich community in Old east Dallas. Lots of church folk around here, and there’s a lot of really cute houses for rent in the Lakewood area that I feel like you’d like. Around White Rock Lake area is very safe & close to trails & great schools. Richardson is great for the same reason and only about 15-20 minutes from several hospitals. My friends were part of the Texas A&M doctoral program & ended up at UTSW.
