12 years ago, I made this remix. I learned a LOT about remixing since then and this song remains my favorite video game theme ever. I wouldn't be surprised if I revisited this in the next 1-2 years. (I work slow, everyone knows that by now).
@@Aeroprism Likewise, my Canadian friend. Hope winter has been tolerable for you all. I often wonder if Phantasy Star II and III are truly great as we behold, or if we are clouded by nostalgia. Like, would the younger generations, not us Gen-Xers, appreciate the game, and importantly, the music. Your thoughts? I simply cannot hold them in anything less than high esteem.
Thanks for the kind words guys, it really encourages me to make more remixes. I never really got into PS4's music, I dunno why, it just didn't move me as much as PS2 and 3 did.
I loved the way this song got more musical instruments depending on who was in your party and then fell apart if your main character got taken out. It was a clever mechanic.
Picking out the faults of PSIII is low hanging fruit. When someone takes the time and expends the effort to highlight one of the game's high points, be it fan art or a truly beautiful reimagining of the game's score, it makes you appreciate what Sega got right in this not-quite sequel. Job very well done, Aeroprism. 👏👏
Hi Aeroprism, I came from Eugene Khutoryansky. I love this remix a lot, it was playing when Eugene introduced the concept of integration, and this remix fully represents the true beauty of mathematics and is very inspiring!
Great. ANOTHER reason to want Phantasy Star Generations 3. This would have been a great rendition of the overworld theme for that version of the game. If not that, then definitely a good credits sequence!
I always wanted to play PS3 when I was a kid but only recently got the chance to do it. I instantly fell in love with it's mystery and intoxicating melancolia. This game had a great impact on me. Thanks for your remixes, you keep the legend going. Congrats from France
PS4 has a lot of good songs too, and I listened some good remixes based on its songs. I watched your video playing the main theme of PS3, and I liked too much because you played with a lot of feeling.
This (the original one) is probably my favorite Video Game song ever. I already remixed it twice and I'm STILL working on a third, smoother and grander version.
PS4 is my favorite of the series, but PS3 was my introduction, and what prompted me to buy a Genesis as a kid. It's my least favorite or the Genesis trilogy, but I will always have a nostalgic love for it. Besides, it being my least favorite is purely a matter of semantics. One of them has to be it, and PS3's rushed development really shows. Still, it is not what I would call a bad or meh game. Not even remotely. If for nothing else, it has an amazing soundtrack.
I feel like it needs more power. More command. When I listen to this piece, I want it to be like a punch in the face with how awesomely majestic it is. Criticism aside, I do like it.

Went through a lot of trouble finding this song after hearing it on a physics video. Just could not get it out of my head. Love your work man.
@@alexsorto8100 Awesome!! Eugene Khutoryansky has the best physics vids! Glad you made it here!
dude, you are the man.
@@jasonmalice Always nice to see you, my friend!!

Dark Force waited 1000 years to dislike this video.
And hes going DOWN!!
And that force is presently here on mother earth, time to drive that force, back to where it came from.

PS3 is magical, no matter how you put it. It knew how to do so much with so very little.
Omg it just kept getting better as it went! Beautiful!
I nolifed the crap out of this game back in the day, and this remix really honors it. Thanks for the great work!
High praise right there! Thank you so much!

Thank you so much Minh Dang! Eugene has brought quite a lot of people to my channel, his videos are amazing!!

Jamais trop tard! Un grand merci Louis, c'est très apprécié!!
beautiful. Thank you for making this. :)
My absolute pleasure! Your words made my morning :)
Personally I liked PS3 its a good game, not the best in the series but had Great Music.
blasphemy.
lol jk
Honestly I bought it when it was over $100 Cdn and my brother and I got all 4 generational endings... Very much worth it
THAT DRAWING IS FUCKING AMAZING BALLS!
Beautiful. I always wanted to hear a remix of this. I love that you can hear parts of the 1 party and full party versions.
Those small details right?
Multi life sustain rendering worlds have drama in the bureaucracy & maintenance, this one, 👌beautifully played✊👍

Awesome man!
You've got some great nostalgia put up there!
I can relate

Aeroprisim are you still making remixes? I know Ps3 had the best soundtrack but Promising future would be good
I love this song

Your still the best Prism!!!
When last I checked there was still only one of me so that's a relatively easy position to maintain :D :D
More of this, more of this !
Oh my goodness this is great!!
Awesome!
LOVE IT!
I know everybody says ps4 is the best of the series. However the one I prefer is ps3. There is sthg epic I loved
+didoune didoune Je suis bien d'accord avec toi!!
It's a shame it ended up being rushed. I can imagine that it would be even better.
It's my favourite too.

@@LorenHelgeson Yeah ! PS3 would have deserved more development. Still I love the atmosphere and the story
Excellent work, question on your website, your song, longing dreams which game this came from or is it entirely original? Very good job.
It's a Nekoprism original. Glad you loved it, I sure do!!
Criticism is good, otherwise no one would ever improve!
There's a newer version of this on my website you might enjoy, check it out!
Aeroprism great job dude ! You have given me so much nostalgia!! Love this!!

I'll be sure to. :D
@DamascusTer That's all well and good, but you DO realize I was referring to Phantasy Star 2, right? I hate that game with the fire of a million suns.
@ryto12 Some of the music was good. The rest was sucktacular, just like the game.
The worst game of the series has the best soundtrack.
I actually loved this game especially for the scenario
